This is probably the most underrated game of the decade. I remembered buying the game for close to $20 dollars years ago and over the years the game has only gotten better and better. With the addition of other vehicles, traffic, maps, aircrafts, missles, missions, graphics updates, and hopefully someday career, and a seamless multi-player. Not to mention video content like this one. I cannot think of any other game that for that price can say the same.

these crashes need to be shown in all driving schools around the world for learning purposes. as a driver you need to also be aware of your surroundings because you never know when a selfish person could make a stupid move taking the life of innocent people driving safely

I have the game but I’m not really sure what to do in it? As someone with over 1000 hours how do you spend your time in beamng?

@@SuperHaryboy - it's a sandbox game so the possibilities are limited only by imagination. One of my favourite activities is turning the traffic on and trying to drive a normal car from A to B as fast as I could in real life using a modicum of common sense (as if I was late for work for instance) and then stretching it a bit to see what happens when I run out of talent. That usually gives pretty realistic results. I also enjoy putting my reflexes to the test - I set up a trailer loaded with wood or produce in a random spot on a long stretch of motorway, then crank the fog up to 11 and check wether I can stop my car from motorway speed quick enough to avoid hitting it. Or I pick a map with many uphill road sections, make up a delivery task, take a car small car with a rather heavy trailer and do my best to reach the imaginary finish line without overheating the engine. Lastly, I load a crash test facility map and try to recreate small overlap crash tests. Whichever I pick it's a very sobering and educational experience.

@@SuperHaryboy i personally just spawn traffic and police, and send it, while avoiding crashing. Im using a wheel tho. Or the delivery in italy scenario. Always installing mods to keep it fresh.

I thought the same when first watching it the first time but if you look on the last clip of it, i think the van was too long for him to slip past the truck at those speeds if he had not swerved off the road. He would have gotten clipped if he committed imo. But if he had sped up from the beginning, he might have made it

I'm not sure if this feature is implemented in the actual game (i never played), but would be nice to have a possibility of doing a predefined accident scene, and sell it to the TV companies that are doing scene reconstruction on the NEWS, eventually as a standalone

for most cars, let's say bmw 3 series size, around 120hp is minimum to do things safely with good timing, for smaller cars like mini, I'd say 80hp.

Slow drivers cause problems. That’s why they say you’re supposed to keep up with the speed of traffic.

@@cedrycdota6901 The people overtaking in this video game is an exaggeration. I hope there's not people out there routinely overtaking 3-5 cars on a blind hill or curve. But I do know there's people out there that think staying 5 under the speed limit is them being a "good driver". You have to adapt to your surroundings and being an excessive impedance can create unsafe driving conditions. The slow driver causes frustrations to build in the drivers behind them and causes them to sometimes drive dangerously. The other day I was behind a dump truck with 2 semi-trailers in front of them. The semi's were driving about the speed limit but the dump truck kept trying to pass the semi's on a two lane road. I couldn't get around the dump truck because it would try to pass the semi's on the turnouts but wasn't fast enough to get around it. Meanwhile I'm behind there getting pelted with pebbles and other debris coming off of the dump truck. There were easily 4-5 other cars behind me as well all trying to pass. If the dump truck would have remembered it's slow and stayed to the side the faster cars could have passed the semi's in a much safer way.

Overtaking on a 2 lane road is just a bad idea, in general. You have no idea when someone is gonna show up on the other side and it simply takes far too long to get up to speed and pass that shit like this happens. If you're in that much of a hurry, you should consider leaving sooner.

Especially when your in a truck. Because you have 2 blind sides which is the left and right side and back side. You dont know what is in your back nor in your left and right. You can still do a safe overtake, just think first, check your blind sides, and overtake in a slow speed. (If your gonna overtake and your slower than the car your gonna overtake, slightly increase your speed but dont go fast.)
