Actually, these things were popular here in the states when it comes to small size pickups. It was more like a Japanese designed version of the El Camino.

Just bought this mod, absolutely love it. The california dream variant with a few upgrades is my fav for sure, if you install a nice harness for the rear jump seats it'd make a perfect beach car, you, wife, 2 kids, brilliant.

Sadly, in Germany, travelling in the bed seats is illegal :( 4WD cars that drift usually have open differentials. One I know of is the Audi Quattro, which is AWD. I drove it in Assetto Corsa, and it was just brutal. When turning into the corner it would understeer, understeer some more and then suddenly snap-oversteer. I drove it around the Nürburgring GP circuit, and it was absolutely tireing. Brazil has a Peugeot 207 converted as a Ute under the name Hopper. Man, I hate mods where I have to pay with a credit card I do not have.

Subaru putted seats in the back because of the USA's taxes, that was lower for passenger cars, and higher for pickups, but then, the buyer could just remove the seats after buy the car, if the buyer wanted.

Bought it and I’d say it’s worth it, there are a few issues but it was only released a couple days ago. A few issues I’ve seen are the button that does nothing, the hi and low beam buttons don’t do anything at least for me, the range selector button on the UI is there even if you don’t have the 4wd transfer case equipped, and you can’t use ALT S to shift the transfer case. I’m sure it will all be fixed in the near future though Edit: looking through the comments it seems that the mystery and hi/low buttons have a use so disregard eh at I said about those

Got a leaked version, and I actually think it's worth it, but I don't like having to go through the whole credit card process to buy it, I would rather get a leaked copy. Controversial opinion I know, but I don't believe in payed mods

The high/low buttons on the dash control the Air suspension on vehicles that have Air Suspension.

I never understood why paid mods were needed. What's the point of putting so much effort into them if very few people appreciate them, since not everyone is ready to buy the mod. There is also a high probability that the mod will be leaked into the public domain, as was the case with Cherier Picnic and Gavril Scout

Paid mods are needed because people have to make a living. Many hundreds of hours have gone into this. It is of course totally optional whether you pay it and mod leaks are an inevitability. However, good quality modders can still make a living from this and therefore are able to make higher quality mods more frequently.

@@SimulatorAdventures I completely understand you, but $6 (€5.6~) is more than a 7 car DLC for assetto corsa. Because of the higher price I also don't expect a lot of sales from this mod, and will be a target for pirating. Though I fully understand why they need that money.

There's a free alternative called OpenTrack. It uses your webcam or a phone camera, you can find tutorials on how to set it up here on KZfaq. 😀

A game is a game, a game is not for you to put real-life cats in it good games have their own cars car brands lore and all built around it only inspired by real life. This is what is called world-building. And I'm thousands of times happier to see lore-friendly dev quality mods than some lazy model swap from a cringe racing game that bought the focken 3D models from the manufacturers only to advertise their cars like in Forza. Despicable

@@whitefalcon630Basically every car/racing game out there depends on licensed, 3d scanned models that come with stringent limits from the manufacturer. It's why games like BeamNG will forever be unique and unbeatable. Just for that sheer freedom. The developers can spread their wings and not have it cut short to piss off some emotional manufacturer. I'll rather play a car game with lore friendly cars then drive the real cars on real roads. This one could last for an entire century and still wouldn't be done dishing out cool shit.
