Tracks like this make me appreciate my grandmother more and more. Yeah we lived in Brooklyn, yeah it was the hood, yeah we weren't rich by any means. But she always made sure the lights were on and there was food in the house. And she never hesitated to give some out to some neighbors with hungry kids. I miss you Grandma. Remember Dem Days.
@LeoMes01 Жыл бұрын
I guess I appreciate that as I get older as well When I was 7 my mom and I had to move becaise we were homeless. Then we got back on our feet 7 months later. It was a lowly casino job And she worked odd jobs throughout my Elementary and middle school career. Never got to go to camp Never went out for any sports. But always had good food Always had access to a good school And I was able to have a phone and laptop. I guess you become more and moee greatful as you get older

@terrellmatthews6377 жыл бұрын
that's why I posted what I like along with the comment posted, rather than posting an old song and bashing it in the comment. take my advise young fella and listen to the content of the lyrics rather than being distracted by the beat. yall rocking to some dumb shit lyrically and will be one fucked up generation if that shit don't change. but hey, I don't have to listen to it and truthfully choose not to as it's not for me. I post what I like... my question to you is have you even listened to the track you made this comment on, and if so what rapper do you have in your generation that can compare or even come close to actually speaking life lessons to keep you out of trouble into the atmosphere?

This was 1 year before 9/11, and 5 years before Hurricane Katrina. People don't know before those 2 major events people were much more happier, life seemed much more better.
