My favorite part of this video is how one second you are talking about how anything can happen in the wild and to be prepared and then the next segment you are having a conversation with a fox that ran off with you croc. haha. That bear is amazing. Beautiful color and big old pumpkin head. Congrats

Dang man that is insane! Congrats on 2 great animals, I know the struggle of hunting 2 animals at the same time and usually you don’t end up getting either one. To get both animals in the same trip is very impressive. It just goes to show that hard work and putting in the time makes it happen, it’s not luck at that point.

I bought the same GOAT knife last year to take on a backpack elk hunt. My thought was weight savings trying to keep my pack as light as possible. As I cleaned my elk it became very clear that the weight savings was not worth it! I wanted to throw that knife as far away as possible. I can't tell you how many times the blade would pop off and be stuck in the meat. I will stick with my fixed blade knives from now on. Congrats on your animals.

I noticed you yellow pad. You my know this already. Ungulates (elk) have dichromatic vision; they only see yellow and blue (along with black, white and shades of grey).
