I've never tried it on this cam system but on others I've worked on shortening cables can lengthen the draw length.

I'm not sure what accessories they are shipping these with. They sent me the bare bow for this review. I often look at the sight and stabilizers first and then the arrow rest.

Yeah I actually thought of that after finishing this video. I'll try doing that at some point. It may be a pain trying to get two arrows at the same exact weight in grains with and without fletch but I may do it at some point

All brands have had limbs that break here and there but I have not heard of an issue with bear limbs in general.

I thought I was going to like this one more but ended up liking the Alaskan by a hair. One is that the Alaskan comes in my draw length and it also has a cam system I'm very familiar with tuning so it's easier to tune for me.

I kind of liked the Alaskan a little better.

I'm having the same problem. From what I understand the pro versions aren't available on line and only available in store through Bear dealers. For example, you can get a Whitetail Legend online but not the Whitetail Legend Pro

I've only shot the bear out of the three you .mentioned, but I can say that the bear did surprise me. It was nicer than I expected it to be.

@@renegadeoutdoors9579 I haven't really had a chance to shoot any of the other brands in this price range this year, so I don't want to give you any bad information. In the past though the BowTech and Diamond bows around this price range seemed pretty decent also.

@@-lovefromnh is it about looks or functionality and and performance....the prettiest bow doesn't mean it's the best bow...time will tell how it works out. I think it's going to be a great simple bow that will be the Smoke Show( haha)

For my urban doe hunting I used the bear Alaskan till it grew an issue I don't have time to deal with so now I'm using my Dragon x8 for urban doe and for much hunting in using my Bowtech revolt x

It went out of tune due to cable stretch and I did not have time to fix it so switched to a different bow that was tuned.

It really depends on what you would prefer. They have different cam systems. The legend XR has a hybrid cam system. They tend to feel a little smoother in the draw cycle but are a little slower in shooting an arrow. They also have a single yolk system on the top cam which enables you to adjust cam lean by adding a removing twist from the yolk. The whitetail legend Pro has a double cam system. There is no yoke system so any adjustments that moving the arrow rest will not fix will require you to shim the cams left or right. However it is a faster shooting bow. You need to look at these details and decide which ones are more important to you. I think both of these bows are very nice and you could be equally as happy with either one.

@@seansoutdoors the bow doesn’t come as a package. You do a lot of good reviews but it seems you are really unprepared for this particular lineup. Viewers would like to know more than your speed rating and draw force jargon. This is a mid priced bow. I’ve seen you do better than this.

Lol, Dan, I put days of work into this video to show how the bow performed, what happens when you change the draw mod settings to the bow, peak weight changes draw lengths not hitting as the manufactured details indicate it should, what happens to the draw stop timing just from moving the draw lengths. All of this educates potential buyers on what they can expect if they move draw lengths and will likely have to reset cam timing. It also gives them an idea of how draw length changes affect performance as expressed in speed readings. Would you have known all those specific details before or without watching this video? I really don't know what you're looking for in a review but I do know I disagree with your comment. I also know that everyone else has had a very different opinion of my review than you. I stand 100 percent behind the hard work I put into making this review on how this bow performs. Maybe you should try filming a review video and see what you think after making one yourself. I think another reason why I focused a lot on reviewing the cam system is because the other bow they sent me to review has a completely different style cam so a lot of people are going to want to know the difference and the difference is all primarily in the cams.

@@seansoutdoors Thanks for specifically covering this cam system as Bear advises it is the ir top of the line cam in a budget friendly bow. The speed change correlation with the letoff increase was something I was really curious about. I think most archers looking at bows over $400 can figure out a rest, sight and stabilizer on their own. Thanks again for keeping it positive as well!

They've changed ownership several times over the years. Some have done better than others. I was delightfully surprised by the bows they sent me to review. The very fact they sent them specifically asking for an unbiased review shows that the current ownership believes in their product enough to subject it to that. No other American company has done that in my regard to date. God bless.

Thanks Josh. If anything, we should feel sorry for him and pray for him.
