Amazing Dan! Back when I used to use a heated brush this scrubbing brush and solution would be awesome to have. I’m so glad that an actual heated brush company finally came out with a dedicated cleaning brush. 👊🤘

Im sort of OCD but previously didn't clean as often as i should because it took me like 20 minutes to really get it clean. I love this kit because i can get it to brand new level of clean in like 30 seconds or a minute. If you have the cash to spare i 1000% recommend this, makes cleaning twice a week a breeze. For cleaning i do side to side like you, but instead of north south i follow a diagonal path about 30-45 degrees or so that has a bit less resistance (following path set by heat brushes teeth) and do that diagonal pass each way, rinse cleaning brush (NOT the heat brush!!!🤣) off with cold water and shake it off to dry and done. Joy to use!

Wow, this video came in perfect timing. I was just thinking about this yesterday, I’ve been struggling with trying to clean my heated brush. I’ve tried many different methods of cleaning, some ways have worked better than others, but this is exactly what I needed. Very excited to try this out, thank you for showing the tools of the trade.

I've had three different heated brushes, each was approximately double what the first was... And I can attest that the Aberlite Pro is THAT much better that it is worth the price!!! I had a cheap brush that was too big for a beard, the pocket (compact) from Aberlite was good, but the Pro is 1000× better than their other one .. Oh, and I'm obsessed with the cleaning kit!!!

Thanks for the video! On a side note I gotta give props to Aberlite. They had this “leave a review and get a free sandalwood beard oil” deal going on. Just got it today and it’s a whole stinkin’ kit! Wash, conditioner, oil, balm, and heat protector spray. I was surprised to say the least!

So awesome! I am definitely going to pick one of these up soon. I love my new Pro and it is MILES past the old one I had. Every problem that I was experiencing was literally just all because of the brush I had. I have way more control, my hair feels better, and it doesn't get too stick straight. I don't have any crazy flip ups on the sides either. I didn't change the way I was using it, just the tool. Thank you so much for helping my find wonderful tools and techniques Dan!

Nylon sauce basters. Firm yet flexible teeth, over an inch long. Gets down to the bottom, and can be washed clean. Perfect for cleaning between the teeth on the heated brush.

I have never looked up how to clean my heated brush. I have always just cranked the heat up on it to allow it to "burn" off the stuff that is on it. I do use tweezers to pull whatever hair gets stuck in it. This is a great video with good info. Definitely going to be looking into that brush and solution, and code!

Great video Dan. I’m going to have to get that cleaner a brush looks so much easier then what I’m doing lol I’m using rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip takes me like 15 mins to do.

Another great video Dan. When you run out of the spray cleaner will you go back to the alcohol alone since you have a better brush? Make your own Alcohol glycerin and peroxide spay?

Question for you Dan, or my fellow bearded brethren... Now the colder weather is here, and as a side/back sleeper who likes to sleep in a cold room, I can't help but to pull the covers right up and snuggle into my bed! But when the covers are up over your shoulder and tucked in under your neck.. Where do you guys put your beard? Under the covers and wake up in the morning with a very defined jawline in your beard? Or lift it up so it sits ontop of the covers and wake up with a very pronounced outward C shape to your beard? A bit random I know, But something I've been struggeling with recently. :D

In that specific situation, under the covers. Shower takes care of any styling concerns in the morning.

I got my Aberlite Pro on Monday. I've used it 3 or 4 times. Man I love it. I was using an Aberlite Max before, but the Pro is so much better, it is a lot more maneuverable and light. I am so glad I upgraded. Dan, is the brush you were using in the video different from the ones that come with the Pro?

What do you do with your beard before you sleep (long beard) leave it natural, tie it up, put in a knot etc etc. I'm unsure because I lie on top of it gets snagged and pulled; and I'm unsure if this is damaging it?

I turned my heated brush to 430° just by accident. I thought it was broken . It wasn't it just burned off all the oil and dirt it went like that for about 6 minutes. Really gross nauseous smelling smoke . So this is perfect timing. PS shout-out to Beard Octane for a great product [beard brush]
