I think it was nice. Maybe just a little trimming of the transparency of the bottom like you mentioned. But it's not that bad.

@@metothemoon1227 Definitely not bad and it was a good trim and haircut. They say "less is more" but I think sometimes taking off a bit more will make it look much thicker and healthier. Sometimes trying to keep it too natural looking will make it look less groomed, which defeats the purpose of going to a barber shop for a trim. Just my opinion, though.

@Kris Klekosky Very well said, I agree with you 100% my dear friend, what you say reminds me of Dan C Bearded when he says in videos that trimming transparency is "addition by subtraction" by doing just a slight trimming of beards beard hair from the bottom of the chin it allows to grow back extremely quickly, to redo grow the color, the length, the volume and when it grows back there will be much less transparency. It is better to have a good beard but without too much transparency, than to have a very long beard and have a lot of transparency at the very bottom of the chin. The trick is not to shave or trim the neckline or the hairs of the Adam's apple beard. Finally especially if the person wants a medium or long beard. Ps: Regarding barbers, I noticed that in France there are very few good barbers, even for hair there are very few professionals who know how to create a baseline, hairdressers who work with scissors and on the sides with the mower. Already very few hairdressers who have good equipment. Even showing a photo to a barber before the hairstyle, the result is not at all the desired result. But hey, it's better than nothing. But sometimes you don't want to pay $30 for a bad hairstyle. And for the ouch ouch ouch beard in France, very few barbers who know how to trim a beard without ransacking it. They go straight to the comb, for example with a 6 mm hair clipper, directly into the beard, and they do the opposite of what you ask for. For example me every time I ask, "Hey I want you to slightly trim my sideburns to the dawn of the ear and I don't want to touch anything else neither the chin nor the underside." He said "Ok no problem it will be easy!!" But result: From a beard of 2 years I go to a beard of 4 months. Which is very disappointing.

@Fanleone: I agree that the beard should be shorter. It seems the men are all about the long beards, but most women that I know don't like those long beards. As for me, I expect bugs or crumbs to come out of those long beards. A shorter, well trimmed beard is very nice.

There’s nothing wrong with a wife wanting her husband/ man to look his best. It shows she cares. Sometimes people see this being negative and not as a positive. I am always honest with my partner even if it’s not always appreciated sometimes but he knows I always looking out for his wellbeing. He wouldn’t want me to let go of my appearance and would tell me. Men sometimes need a little more verbal encouragement. Women are more into their personal appearance you just need to look at the beauty industry.
