While it’s not my style by any means, I’m glad that Jake showcases it as a “style”. Too many people think the UK guys are just giving trash fades since it’s not American style. Whether you like it or not is up to you, but it’s not a mistake. Great barber by the way! Would love to see more of him!

I've seen comments about Jake and his explanation of how and why he is doing things and I couldn't agree more that he is great! I've had to go beyond my school for learning more about mens cuts (even though I'm a barber) and this channel has been pivotal

It really soothed me to know how long this cut took because he was taking the time to create art and not just "I only want the money get in get out" speed. It gives me the confidence I need when I start at a barber shop.

I'm continually amazed at the results skilled barbers can achieve. Jake is one of be best barbers featured on BeardBrand.(IMO) Jake, you took this guy from a "shaggy mess" who wasn't a great advertisement for his own barbering to a guy I'd really trust to cut my hair. ( I feel like if the barber has taken the time to look good himself, he'll take the time to make my cut look as good as possible.)

BB should think about making a powder product for hair! Its big here in the UK and its great for textured hair, adding volume and can mould it all day. Better than any matte product in my opinion

So I live in Flint Michigan, and I have tried so many different barber shops and stylists it's just stupid how lacking of training and skill this industry has. I just wish I could find a skilled barber near me like these guys in beard brands videos. 😢

I know the frustration. I live in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Discovered " I was the victim of losing hair fast" in January.(bad hair genes!!) I found the BeardBrand vids, and wanted to find a barber here that do work like some of the guys at Gentleman and Rouges(can't exactly fly to England to have Mahesh cut it). I had no idea where to begin to look. I didn't think I would find anyone as good as some of the barbers in the videos here. -- I searched Reddit and Google and found a couple of places mentioned in positive reviews on both. -- I was impressed with cuts in photos from one of the shops. Found the shop and each of the barber's Instagram accounts with loads of pics showing cuts they had done. --- I've been going to one of those guys for months now and will never go to anyone else for a cut! -- I just did the same thing for barbers in Flint. -- Have you tried either Consolidated Barbershop or Dapper Barber Company? Both are mentioned in reviews I found on Google and in answers to questions on Reddit. Both have Instagram accounts with pictures of the shops and of cuts they've done. A lot of fades and styles like you see in BeardBrand videos. I'd trust both shops for a "trial cut". (both shops have websites, too)
