yes, the beginning of the chorus is a sample of "it's my party" by Lesley Gore. if I'm not mistaken, Melanie used its original part underneath her singing.

She said it's my party and I can cry if I want to and it is kind of like isolation but I don't think she chose to be isolated it's like nobody wanted to come and if she chose to be isolated she wouldn't be crying she would be completely fine I think so yeah and her songs are so amazing and I can't wait for y'all to listen to different songs from cry baby it's really good I listen to everyone and I swear you would like them there's so catchy and this one happens to be my favorite.
