Ay bro love that you got to see this, Watched the whole thing, Definitely go see him live it you can, I saw him back in 2015-16 at a small venue in Melbourne, Aus and the bass was rattling the joint all night, it’s always new fresh off the top tunes so it’s literally a once in a lifetime set every time you go see him.

Esh! (Yup, watched the entire thing :D) But you mentioned you would love to know a guy familiar enough with what he does to break it down a bit. So as one of his fans who watched him for more than 10 years ill highlight some of the tricks. First of all the performance from in your video 6:16 onward was completely freestyle. He just thinks it up as he goes and doesn't like much repetition. Then there is another very important element. He crafts all the sounds on the spot from his voice. Its ableton and a crap ton of vst's but no samples or synths. Its all heavily manipulated vocals. This gives him the flexibility to do certain actions like controlling the pitch of the dubstep sections with his voice but can then seamlessly integrate it into the set and manipulate it further with his hands. Its pure genious. The same applies for the keyboard, that is his voice to. He typically does a vocal slice and manipulates that onto the keyboard creating any kind of sound he wants. If you want to learn more about him check out his magazine interview on youtube where he explains his setup. He is a couple itterations further now than in this vid and even has a patreon for more in depth questions. As far as track suggestions go finf his beardymananananan twitch (possibly more or less ananan) and look at the my next job is in cyber playlist. Its pure gold especially track 7 and 8.

All software he runs on his ipads is made by him and another sound engineer if I am not mistaken to badly. It's a literall piece of art, biggest drem of my life would be to get to try his setup out one day.

@@whimseyOFC Mistaken badly, its a custom ableton rig. You got the info from one of his old videos. He started from scratch in ableton and had to ditch some features as a result. But is currently working on his own max4life plugins he can integrate. Search for his magazine interview video where he showcases this setup.
