The Sling TSi Kit is the airplane Sling fans have been waiting for. All of the style, economy and practical utility of the Sling 4, but with more SPEED! Harnessing the power of the Rotax 915iS or the all new Rotax 916iS turbo-charged, fuel-injected and FADEC engine, the Sling TSi maintains the quiet, comfortable and smooth ride with an extra dose of horsepower.
The Sling TSi features an all-new high speed wing design: optimized for the power and weight of the aircraft. The leading edge of the wing is flush-riveted for low drag. The forward fuselage and empennage are also flush-riveted. The landing gear is airfoiled, low-drag wheel pants incorporated and there is a new cowling design.
The interior, seating, ventilation and heating are improved for passenger comfort and luxury.
Although the Sling TSi shares a similar appearance and the distinctive “Sling attitude” with the Sling 4, it only shares about 20% parts in common. It is a completely new aircraft, with different design goals than the Sling 4. The main result of these changes is SPEED.

Great job!! I love that the factory makes jigs for the wings and all bending is complete so you don’t need a brake.. Once again, thanks for spending time to post all of your Sling building process. Glen

Nice job When I built my RV 14A the fuel tanks were the least fun. Can,t wait to see how your tanks go together. Would like to fly down and visit sometime earl spring if possible. Thanks for posting. Tom

Thanks for sharing comments about the kit quality; making a great case for choosing Sling. Your build progress is remarkable and appreciate the real-time updates. Are you planning on using a shop for your instrument panel or stick with DIY?

Thanks! Advanced Flight System is building my panel now. On my previous build, I installed all Dynon and was very happy with it. In this case, the only thing different is the AF 6600 EFIS. So everything will be entirely Dynon is behind the AF 6600, which the norm for Advanced. Here is some more information: www.advancedflightsystems.com/advanced-6600.php
