I've been watching a longer term trend line on the SMH 275-280 area. Grabbed my stones and bought puts on Tuesday SMH @ $278. Payed off handsomely today. Curious, how's that Hindenberg Omen signal......any change?

Today's NVDA price change highly mimics a two state thermodynamic phase transition. The math suggests that this was a smart set-up by Bear traders. The fact that it ended almost exactly as expected for such a transition is mind blowing. One can only guess what the next phase will be. My hope is that the pullback will only go to about $129 on Friday. If so NVDA might rise again next week. I'm hoping for $145 in a couple of weeks.

Pullback is more likely controlled selling orchestrated by bulls to buy NVDA at a lower price.

Thx Dave! The concert sounds like it would've been a good time... if I were in that area I'd join the audience. Looking forward to Steve Nison's interview. Enjoyed reading his literature, breathing imagination and life into my chart analysis. I enjoyed the stories brought from the Japanese into the Candle setups.

GILD published amazingly positive clinical study results for an HIV vaccine which is what drove that spike. Smaller upward action Friday. Not normally a stock I’d be in given long term trend, but jumped in for a short term profit. What’s the likelihood a stock in that overall long term downtrend would continue higher? Seems risky.

I have a slightly unrelated question but since you are using stockcharts on a Mac, Dave, I am wondering what program you use for trading on a Mac, since most trading programs are written for the PC? I used to like TradeStation on my PC, for example...

July thru August strong seasonally.. of course mid June thru July usually pullback as rotation briefly from tech to defensives that doesn't last however as reversiin to growthusually resumes until August... prelection year after may rise is bullish through normally weak period of year..... net net..... but the dip;?

HOW ATH ARE MADE What goes up must come down. This just means the Old investors are exchanging hands with the new investors. Now we have new investors that bought shares around $135-$140 (These people will not sell around these prices as they want to profit) The next run up will be $150. A sizable sell off happened today. The next runup will go past $140 as these new investors hold. Again Rubin R100 is being released in Fall 2025 Rubin R200 is being released in Spring 2026 I would personally buy the dip here

Without a doubt, this year will be worse than the last. I lost a lot of money last year as a result of bad investment choices that I would not have made if I hadn't been so worried about my portfolio. I kept investing, but I couldn't determine whether to start paying for a house. In the end, I sold my positions, and the house needed more work than I had planned. I'm not sure how long I can keep going like this.
