Thorfinn character is like great ashoka warrior ( Btw he was a cruel king but after Ashoka conquered the Kalinga country (modern Orissa state) in the eighth year of his reign. This war resulted in thousands people of death, flood of blood the sufferings that the war inflicted on the defeated people moved him to such remorse that he renounced armed conquests. I'm sorta in the same boat, I haven't hurt many people, but I said a lot of weird and grotesque things and ruined many friendships due to my stupidity a few years ago, and I wish I can just let go of my past and stop worrying about it haunting me. If I could go back in time, I'd beat myself up for saying the things I said, but I've recently have been working towards coming to terms with my past, and learn to accept I can't change things and I must work towards being a better person.

I genuinely think Thorfinn is one of the most impactful characters not just in manga, but in all of fiction. Just look at the amount of people influenced by a character to become a better person. I can’t think of another character who has got this many people genuinely trying to improve themselves.

@@_.Zeraaa._ I actually can understand why you think of that about Umineko, but in **MY** opinion. Thorfinn is a great character with more improve. Give me some names of the characters YOU think have the same in common with Thorfinn, i mean that with the ''power'' to influence people to be a better person and blah blah blah. I can deny some characters that are pure evil (or just doesnt care at all): Beatrice (later on chapter 5 see seems to change, didn't finish yet. But i will finish that to confirm.) Lambdadelta: seems like that annoying brat kid in walmart when she didn't get what she wants. Bernkastel: ... another brat that i hate, but she seems to tried to ''''''help''''''' battler (then.. you know.. that thing with Ange in chapter 4.) Eva: Fuck eva, all my homies hate eva. Im dedicating this last half of 2023 to myself, not selfishly but mostly trying to improve myself. It starts with my emotional and mental health. It’s time to take this one day at a time. Love you guys. I’m gonna make myself the best version I possibly can. 🙏❤️ Edit 9/18/2023: So it’s been about 3 months, and let me tell you that the progress has been astounding. The one thing I’ve learned over these months is to love yourself. Also I started a journal where I write down things that I am thankful for. I have lost 30lbs as well. I am the most emotionally mature of my life. I’ve grown closer than ever to God. Still got a ways to go, but I’m feeling great!

Back when I was in elementary school I was so happy, I slowly lost that over the years and now when I heard this song it reminds me to stay positive and remember that nobody is my enemy.

I wish the best of luck to anyone out there making a change whether that be working out and becoming fit or getting smarter and earning more money to always be kind and loving to anyone that passes by or supports you on your path, always forgiving or letting things be. Today I decided to dedicate myself like never before. I've gone through hundreds of motivational videos, slides, texts, interviews, quotes, whatever you can think of. They've only served me a temporary purpose, as I always found myself back in the same predicament I was in before I'd watched them. Stuck in a cycle of detrimental habits and hobbies, lacking motivation and love for myself, misjudging others, acting irrational. I've always heard about how great of a person I can be, how much potential I have, how much my friends, family and girlfriend love and adore me, but I've never fully believed I was everything they say. I always found myself in a loop of scorn, hate, dejection and sadness. But today I've decided to follow this. I have no enemies. And that includes myself.
