In one of the interview he was saying 3 months tha oru script yeluthuvaram I am not saying 3 month is not enough the tone in which he said was very lethargic. Padam flop matter ella bro, vijay sir different ana movie pakkanum mudiyuma podiumo than Bayam. Thirupi siva, perarsu, pandiyaraj mari poiduvangalo, different ana story try Panna ma poiduvingalo than ovuoru vijay fanin Bayam. Lokesh understood this very well and delivered according to it. Master may not be great flim but it gave confidence for vijay sir to come out his zone and do a flim. A director needs certain amount conviction to tell a story but totally missing in Nelson's Beast.

I feel like Nelson was rushed and pressured to release the movie fast in the midst of two pan-Indian movies' releases. There were a lot of scenes that had continuity mistakes that led Nelson into confusion in presenting a good climax instead of adding another one. That's the main reason Nelson interviews just talk about Vijay in different characters but not the story. I have a strong feeling something is happening in between the script and the producer. I know Nelson is a very good writer, unless someone messes up.
