Here it is, the great episode "Code of Hero" Especially great for all of the Dinobot fans.
Megatron employs the Golden Disk to pinpoint how he will change the future to rewrite the timeline and ensure Predacon rule. Dinobot learns of this, and gives it his all to stop the Predacons from destroying the valley where the humans are destined to evolve.

A truly great episode of Beast Wars. The best of the entire series and the saddest. Dinobot was my favourite character. He sacrificed his life to save the future of humanity. He was a real hero.

Even in his passing... Dinobot earned his redemption with his comrades and most of all: HIMSELF!!! But looking back on this... makes me cry especially his funeral!!!

I watched this when I was 10. I am now 34 and just started Beast Wars today with my 5 year old. He has seen the traditional transformers but loves dinosaurs and animals. After episode 1 he’s right into it. He knows Dinobot is my favourite. This episode will never not be the best

Dimobot was the only Maximal lost during the war on earth that was given a proper burial and send off. Everyone else died or was taken when things escalated so quickly they had no time to grieve.

I cried. Seriously, I BAWLED my eyes out when I saw this episode for the first time! Dinobot has, and always will be, my favorite transformer by far. Sorry Cheetor, you have to take second place. Dinobot was badass, lived by a code of honor many aspire to but few succeed, and ultimately proved himself forever a hero. Yasuraka ni, meiyo aru senshi. Anata no fumetsu no densetsu no ue ni sunde imasu.

Dinobot could have stayed out of the fight. In fact, he was _told_ to. But he knew that the future wasn't set in stone. The reason why he had no choice at all is because he can choose to do many things. But the one thing he couldn't choose was not to be himself. So he joined the battle. And it was for the better, because the weapon and inspiration he left behind allowed humanity to do the same. Farewell Dinobot. May your legacy live on in the greatest of Cybertron's legends.

You're not going to believe this but when the series first aired in my country, the censors feared that it was too violent and cut it out of the series run entirely. Since watching it on VHS and the internet, I realise that was nothing short of criminal.

It never occurred to me just exactly what megatron was trying to do by destroying the valley and why dinobot was trying to stop him, until I thought about it for a minute...., Megatron was trying to deny the autobots an important ally when the great war starts (spike, Carly, sparkplug, chip, etc) cuz now that I think about it, that what tip the odds in their favor against the decepticons in the first place

3:53. To 5:04. Man among all The Voice Roles that Scott McNeil had on Transformers Beast Wars Dinobot truly was The Best One. Dinobot truly was a Good Person who fought for The Wrong Side But in The End he Finally Revealed his True Colors A Warrior with a Code of Honor. If were not for Dinobot’s Sacrifice The Maximals would have lost The War and The Human Race would have never been born. Dinobot was The True Hero of The Beast Wars and Humanity’s Greatest Savior.

The final moments was both powerful and sad to see Dinobot die and that he died a warrior and definitely had a lot of honor. RIP Dinobot. He will be sadly missed.

You know, I really don't see how anyone can down talk this show. It might not start off "grand", but man does it really transform into something that you can really notice the differences and changes in things. Just from watching the development of Dinobot, and his struggles between himself and what he should do, to Cheetor, who started off as a young minded bot full of venturing off and getting into mischief . This show develops nicely, though cornyish in some parts, but nicely nonetheless.

This episode is one of the many that shows why Primal is an incompetent and foolish leader. Instead of taking the Predacons that Dinobot worked so hard to put out of commission, he just leaves them there for Megatron to collect and restore at his own leisure. Not only that, Primal didn't even bother to attack Megatron while he was alone allowing the Predacons time to recover. Rhinox would have been a much better leader.

Beast wars what it lacked in the Graphical compartment (face it compared to what we´re capable of producing today, Beast Wars haven´t aged very well) it more then made up for in the story telling and character development. Beast Wars should serve as a template on how to do a show right.

I was inspired to write/type a story about Dinobot's soul/spark being trapped within a teenage girl's body by accident during a war on earth between the Maximals and the Predacons on present day Earth (takes place 100 years before Beast Machines). The two work together into taking down Galvatron and the resurrected Starscream and to save the Earth once again from Vehicon/Predacon rule.

@cxmb Actually, Transformers: Prime comes pretty damn close. And the action sequences are even better choreographed than Beast Wars' stuff. Granted, no character will EVER top Dinobot at his peak, but no show is perfect. ;)

@Vorahk3985 Also on a sidenote Transformers Cybertron/Galaxy Force wasn´t even a part of the universe that Transformers: Micron Legend/Armada Transformers Superlink/Energon was it was shoehorned into the Unicorn continuum in the American dub.
