This is a 20 minute long video, showing what has been going on in the Medway area in Kent over the past few days with the snow and the so-called "Beast from the East" snowstorm. Police and other agencies were out in force, protecting the public and dealing with emergencies that arose due to the snowfall. Bit longer than my usual videos but shows the full extent of the snow and amount of disruption caused. If you don't want to watch the full video you can find a video guide in the description, with a time stamp of each scene. Please remember to stay safe, at the time of writing this comment, the weather has not yet subsided and is spreading across the whole of the UK. Please stay inside unless you have no other option than to go out, follow all advice given by your local authorities (Council, Police etc etc) and please remember to #staysafe!

I personally love the full videos showing traffic and conditions etc. gives some context to the challenges the responding vehicles were having to face. Good work!

Top quality video as always . Well done the crews horrific conditions and top notch response driving. Love how the police seem to be just using blues but all bar one of the ambulances still smashing sirens out.

Snow tyres, a tip from Sweden ;) Weird to see that the officers in unmarked Skoda have not cleard the front window of snow... That's stuff police can pull you over for, as well as for not cleard the back window and roof

One trick I've learnt from Denmark and I don't know if it's an actual law, or just good know how. Vehicles don't follow directly behind the one in front, they stagger to the left or right so their wheels cut another track. This clears the snow and widens the lane, if done from when the snow starts it's even easier, then motorist just keep the lanes clear with the staggered method. Snow ploughs work in teams and clear the whole motorway or other roads each pushes the snow across the next one traveling slightly behind. It's great to watch and so simple, these guys are out there at the first signs of snow, they don't wait for the roads to get blocked first. Of course the UK does not see enough of it , so that every motorist is fully equipped and more importantly trained how to drive on snow and ice.

Writing from Australia i can say the snow looks beautiful on trees and stuff but I can imagine how it can become a nightmare! Nice catches btw

I'm not sure if I'd rather your snowstorm or the stinking hot and humid weather we've got in Australia at the moment. We had towns that had a whole week with every day hitting high 40s (115F). Not too bad here, only 35C (95F) with high humidity (and summer is over!) Stay safe in the snow!

This is nothing compared to Lincolnshire. We had 4 foot + around mine, at the time I drove an M3 so I wasn’t going anywhere, even the tractors from other farms weren’t able to get us out. If I can find the video I’ll put it on my channel.

I'm in cardiff and I didn't see cars on one road for 20 minutes because the snow was so deep and windy..felt like a lone traveler...awesome videos enjoyed both of them but this was my favourite.

Well considering you are usually between the ages of 16-18 when you're at college, I don't think you could consider that all grown up... probably still live with their parents outside term time if it's residential.
