Honestly, I don't think they should nerf Malagor ^^' The AI does not know how to play him, so they get wiped out pretty quickly, and in multiplayer, they just don't have to give him all of his bonuses. And in single player campaign... well it's a signle player, who cares if you got an op character? XD

so they literally made malagor from an underdog and worst to one of the best casters and lord in the game

I could see the horrible regeneration on spawn being useful when they are being shot at by artillery, a ranged character, or a magic missile. Any damage source that does a lot of damage to a single model while leaving the rest of the unit intact.

As if I couldn't be more hyped by the rework, now I want to do a Beastmen campaign with all four Legendary Lords

I'd almost suggest that economy be a separate class, since characters with good economy bonuses (Discounts, increased growth and horde growth, corruption, faster recruitment, ect) can be really good in the early game or when conquering a new region and rapidly establishing a beach-head.

Re: Malagor vs Khazrak: any lord relying on chariot, is at a serious disadvantage in sieges. Malagor on the other hand, goes flappy-flappy over those pesky walls and towers with those pesky gunners on them. That said: downside of magical characters is they do need points for their spells. On a regular lord I often find it easier to spare points for the 'red' line. I think you glossed over some of the lords buffing Razorgors; I think early-mid campaign a few of those have some promise, especially combined with the idea of ambushes: in ambush you totally should be able to set these up vs either missile units, or units without charge defense, they have decent armor-piercing damage, and should cost a lot less than centigors & minotaurs. Kazrak thus may be an excellent early-mid lord, if he indeed buffs Razorgors too. Sad aspect: the most magicky lord = I have less need of an extra spellcaster --> buffs magic. The most melee lord = I will recruit a hero spellcaster --> 0 buffs for magic. It'd be nice to see something breaking the mold a bit on this. Likewise for the Dwarf master runelord. Imagine a Malagor, draining Magic, including that of other friendly casters in his region. Or Morghur. Oh well.

Can you do this evaluation for generic lords? And for campaign specific lords?

The entity-recover thing is handy when you loose models. They get to full health-per-model the next fight, so you instantly get models back.

Just a question for Morghur. The regen on spawn tech tree, and horrible regen. Do those stack together so they have abnormally high regeneration rates? Or no. Cause that was the case with the brood horror mount and Thrott, I think, until after a patch and it was lowered.

3:50 Seriously it's disabled after you get the victory condition? So unless the enemy's got one unbreakable you're kiting around there's no post battle regen? But does it at least stack on top of the normal regeneration from the tech tree for 8/sec total?

When does this update go public? My Beastmen game last week didn’t seem effected yet.

So something that looks really strong to me, if im understanding the Morghur abilities correctly, is that he has three differently named damage over time abilities. One mortus engine effect on him, a different one on the Jabberslythe, and a 3rd on morghur's attacks. Thats a whole lot of flesh melting DoT

As usual a great vid and good list. You might have skipped Taurox his "River of Blood" ability, which is a nice addition for the beastmen to lower enemy leadership even further.

Those banners that Morghur gets seem like they're more useful for non-chaos spawn units. I don't know how good it'd be in practice, but a stalking minotaur or centigor sounds fun.

The bright side of his regen is it doesn't need the base so you can put off getting regen because you already have it at home. It's not a big deal, I feel like any regen tech is one you normally would rush if you use the unit at all.
