For those not versed in Sub Digimon, Perfect-level equates to Dub Digimon's Ultimate-level, right? It's been a while since I dabbled in the subject myself, so a refresher would be most handy.

Digimon has no relationship to age though. Don't get confused because the champion is called adult. I am sure they're not talking about the same definition of maturity. It's more of an rank.

Each evolutionary stage is in the form of an "archetype" and not all archetypes exist within an age range. For example Bancholeomon is Mega and portray the archetype of a street gangster but appears abit older than the age archetype usually is. While Banchomamemon(also Mega) is the same archetype but younger, the school drop out. Both are seen in Jojos Jonathan Kujo character as at his first introduction he was a late teen age and in later parts he was 22+ Angewomon could be portrayed anywhere from 18≈ and up towards the prime of 30≈. So there's Megas that aren't seniors or full adults and there's ultimates ranging from young teen to later 20s. Some easier to portrayed than others. So it's clear that their levels in themselves don't directly reflect their age. Even in the games this is true. It's fully possible to find older digimon that are a generation lower than an younger digimon per age because one worked more towards evolving while the others settled were they were. Another example is the individual levels of maturity between champion levels and the ultimates, Leomon especially appears like an grown 50+ man in terms of mental maturity while lillymon an ultimate is usually a teen girl and other times about as mature as Angewomon when Mega as Rosemon.

I personally couldn’t get into this one It felt like it minimizes the Tamers aspect even more with Shoutmon being like the only partner that mattered And if memory serves wasn’t the final villain beaten by just one giant cluster mishmash of a Shoutmon Mega DigiVolution that just stood there and shot one beam attack and bam enemy was gone? As much crap as Frontiers gets, I at least give it credit for having decent to good fights, barring the ones against the two Knights in the final arc seeing as they ALWAYS lost till the very end

However everything else is very mediocre such as inconsistent flip flopping of names like Team Twilight/Midnight and the many names for Digimon attacks and the joke script. Never forget and forgive the "You don't know Japanese" line.

Agree, plus Saban didn't dub Hunters. Funny, the dub is considered so bad that the TCG uses Xros Wars terminology and all the Xros Wars generals have their Japanese names retain for the Western audience.
