i know its been along time but i found it.... vocaroo.com/i/s1BMch8XGnzY im still not able to place where it came from, but this is def the original audio. seems to me like its an old film or tv show, the audio has a faint bell ring and a siren in he back ground along with subtle footsteps (which could be the actors moving in the scene or the behind the camera people moving (common at that age of film making) )

No, the sample isn't from the end of the bar plus the beginning of the same bar, it's from the end of one bar and continues onto the next (at 0:10-0:11 in the sampled song)

King Armani for that specifically I used Ableton's Utility effect to mess with the channel balances and mute one or the other. I also use mono recording in Maschine and pick just the left or the right channel as the input. Few other ways to do it too!

You got the sample chops pretty much down (sometimes not as punchy) -- props! Drums aren't those primo drums --need more oomph and downsampling! Nice breakdown overall though
