*Edit* Yes, It still works just make sure the bonfire is high enough to get under the Alter, Also make sure you can repair the bonfire and bring obsidian arrows/ A strong bow. Dont get greedy with hits on bow, Use the Bonfire and also prepare under the alter for the fight.; Will take a small amount of time but You will do it in one go without dying if done right
