I admit sang too much in the first round. But I came up with the lyrics just 5 mins before the battle and I decided to try it on stage. It was a diss build up to the drop. I just wanna say apart from this, beatboxing is basically making music with your mouth. Making music means involving even singing, unless you dont categorize singing as music. Beatboxing dont have any boundaries. We just wanna make good music, which is subjective to individuals. I think if you have the chance, you should come

That's the reason why I like the EoM. The focus is on musicality and creativity. So you don't have figurs like Skiller and Alem in the finals who just try to be more faster than their competitor. Nice battle and even if you sang a little too much, you got the voice to do that bro! And the trumpet shit was dope. Also big up to Slizzer, hell of a job he did there. cheers

Yea, judge bass watching clip on YT. I was on brukfestival this year, Dharni was there, belivie me for now there isn't many beatboxer anywhere which are better than him.

a good performance is accompanied by good crowd interactions. creativity is another vital key goin out of regular beatboxing. besides, you can say how Dharni sang too much, but you can't say his skills is not up to par at all just because he sang more than he should

@IshidaHarukaa I wouldn't really consider Dharni's attitude as cocky. Simply put, he came into the battle to well.. battle lol. And his attitude reflects that. On top of that, when going into the finals, a beatboxer really has to pull out all the stops. Since most of their resources have already been exhausted in previous battles in the same competition, it's only natural for a beatboxer to resort to on-the-spot burns in order to pull ahead. In any case props to both beatboxers. Battle was fire!

he's got a point though. beatboxing.. is how you incorporate all sounds with your mouth to become a music. that also includes singing and rap. the problem is how you incorporate that elements into good beatboxing. beatboxing has grown into something more complex. not just fast, clean, technical beats like many of todays new school beatbox do. Honestly this Emperor of the mic competition dont judge beatboxers by his technicality. they also put the emphasis on musicality and showmanship.
