The Niederhorn is a peak of the Emmental Alps in the Bernese Oberland near Beatenberg. It is the peak farthest west in the Güggis ridge. From its summit Lake Thun and the entire Bernese Alps can be seen. An aerial cable car to the summit was completed in 1946 with a restaurant and children's playground at the top. At 1950 m above sea level, the Niederhorn offers a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding mountains and the deep blue waters of Lake Thun.

Beatenberg - From Monday, 18 March to Sunday, 31 March 2024 the ticket office will be closed. Our sales staff will carry out maintenance work during this time but will be available for guest enquiries, ticket sales will not be possible during this time. From 1 April, the ticket office, including ticket sales and advice, will be open during the usual opening hours.
Beatenbucht - The ticket office will be closed from Monday, 01 April to Sunday, 07 April 2024. From 8 April, the counter including ticket sales and advice will be open during the usual opening hours.
