Several weeks later, I am finally back with a new video. This time trying out a custom Doom 2 Map (which replaces MAP07) created and uploaded on Moddb by f0u. To make things difficult and out of place, I tried this one out with 2 gameplay altering mods. Here's what the mods are:
1) Legion of Bones (Low Budget): Legion Of Bones converted to run on older versions of GZDoom. That's because recently the latest version of GZdoom started lagging like f*ck in my PC.
2) Cursen Doom: Wrath Of The Hellion:- Just a simple mod where a special type of Hellion will try to sabotage the player randomly. Teleporting in, casting spells and teleporting out of the map. Here's what this Hellion can do unlike any regular Hellion monster:
a) When a map loads, the Hellion will first teleport in (using the player's XYZ coordinates) only to laugh and mock the player, then teleporting away from the map, leaving one of 4 things for the player. If the player is in luck, the Hellion will drop a Soulsphere, though this Soulsphere isn't properly functional. The Hellion will also drop health bonus and 10 shotgun shells randomly. In rare and unlucky cases, the Hellion will drop NOTHING, but instead will summon an Archvile after leaving. If you are running a map with pistol start and the map is tough (e.g a map from Hell Revealed) and this happens, you are really screwed.
b) The Hellion can cast fireballs at you. The weakest one is just one fireball which is easily avoidable. It will also shoot fireballs from it's eyes like the Bruiser Demon
c) The Hellion can perform a ground fireball attack at you, which can deal ton of damage if not careful.
d) The Hellion can summon 2 spirits which will search for dead monsters and possess them, resurrecting them in the process. Unfortunately you can't kill these spirits and they must resurrect one of the monsters in order for them to be gone completely.
e) This is one of the nastiest of all. The Hellion can also STEAL ammos, 50% of your armor and weapons from you. However if you are using this with a custom weapons and items mod (like Project Brutality and Brutal Doom) the Hellion will fail to take away your weapons but can still manage to flee with some of you ammo.
f) The WORST one. The Hellion will laugh at you for some time, then summon 2 Archviles. Always be ready when you hear it laugh.
NOTE: If you manage to maintain enough distance from The Hellion, The Hellion won't cast any spells at you and leave laughing. However, after leaving, it will summon 2 Revenants. But on the bright side, CRUEL tricks like items stealing and Archvile summoning can be prevented like this with the price of 2 Revenants.
