2 жыл бұрынHoly shit this was hard. I was so nervous near the end and kept playing bad lol. Highly recommend perma famine mode mod. If you liked this, I recommend watching my older famine mode videos where I play the DLC.
-No health/armor drops
-No saving throw
-All secret encounters and slayer gates

I'm only 17 minutes in but I have to say that the efficiency and the elegance in the way you play is astonishing. My jaw has been on the floor for minutes.

One thing i would like to see make a comeback in future Doom games is enemy specific drops. I.E Former Sargents dropping shotguns, Former Soldiers dropping clips. Only if Hugo does decide to make it a slower game (he said he was considering that in a stream) Personally i love Eternal's fast paced gameplay and would prefer they just use this engine with new weapons.

I was surprised this game didn't have enemy-specific drops as a mechanic. They need to do it in the future in my opinion. Not really shotgun drops necessarily, but weirder stuff perhaps.

well some enemies actually do have that! its just quite rare and is only on like 2 enemies (i cant remember the second one but im pretty sure theres 2) since killing spirits drops a blood-punch charge, i think it would be cool to see that with other stuff, maybe a flying enemy that drops dash charges on kill?

As soon as I saw a hot challenge run to watch I had to click. Great job, love that 1HP in Final Sin. Really changes the game when you can't just full heal from 3 zombies in an instant. Now if only the ammo system wasn't so tied to the chainsaw...

How do you manage to stay calm for that long near the end with 1 health left around the 3:12:00 mark, I'd have totally panicked. Every time I see someone on an ultra nightmare run on both DOOM and this game, there is always a point where the player gets down to so little health that you're sure they're not going to survive, and yet they always manage to pick themselves up again. Well done to you for keeping your cool, I totally salute you 🫡

arc complex and urdak easily, everything else is kind of easy. Urdak barely has any health pick ups while arc complex is very claustrophobic. Thanks for introducing perma famine mode, its a lot of fun!

Looking back on this, they fixed the Maykr drone drops for headshots, that would help for sure! But that doesn’t fix ARC I’m on a UN 100% no chainsaw run currently

Wait, how to enable famine cheat code on UN run? I thought cheat code just just for the level you done. Also, how you do enable those weapon animation during the game without touching console commands?

console command mod, and its perma famine mod no cheat code needed you can search: DOOM Eternal: All Weapon Inspections - KZfaq which tells you how to do it

i think you mean how did i jump up at 9:58? You just spam jump with the air control rune, it only works like half the time.
