Yeah the story and progression of a run is just as interesting as the hard parts, aggy and Gino's both show all these little moments that really add a lot to their videos. I think editor don't realize I'm here for distortion and not just the run sometimes.

HELL YEAH THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEN WAITING FOR...even without the busted build/ash of war these are such a cool weapon and move set. Its like the ability to use "magic" without costing mp which is awesome. I hope they dont nerf it to oblivion so that its still viable

My favorite tech with these things is to set a trap for an enemy that's charging at you, since it lingers for a while before detonating. Sunflower gets wrecked by this.

Only the rolling sparks ash is OP. I did my first DLC run with these and the weapons themselves are very mediocre; low range, long recovery frames and almost no poise damage.

@@ISAACcookie Fr, they seriously need a balance patch. Although dealing pure damage is pretty neat. But in most cases, you can barely hit anything due to the range. Also pray that whatever you are fighting doesnt have back step in middle of their combo.

the paired weapons in the DLC - aside from the backhand blades - all seem like really excellent offhand weapons. perfumes, throwing daggers, and beast claws in particular have great utility L1s

RH poison flower blooms twice Milady(poison or bleed)+rolling sparks fire bottle LH:Poison bottle+vow of indomitable or parry perfumer shield. Drip:depraved perfumer headscarf, altered perfumer robes, omenkiller gloves and boots Talisman: perfumers,kindred of rot, twoheaded turtle, shard of alexander 60vig,15mind,20end,12str,60dex,9int,8faith,60arc Im having so much in arena and destroyed final boss. Best dlc of all time

the biggest problem outside the range issue is until fully upgraded and at full build they don't do much so much of their dmg comes from the scaling side

Sadly the perfumed still end up sucking it you don’t abuse the ash of war, but at least they’re kinda cool looking. Trying to play without ash of war and it is miserable

@@slothorne8222aow deffinately ramps them up but the broken damage comes from a bug where you shoot the ground unlocked to the enemy so it detonates all explosions at once. This is a bug and will get fixed. So i hope they bump the damage a bit cause right now they are daggers with slight delay on their damage

@@slothorne8222 Ngl, that's 100% a skill thing. I've been doing the whole game with a Perfumer build, and they are consistently wrecking every enemy that staggers, and pretty easily destroying any enemy with poise. The only thing they struggle against are enemies with high pure resistance to all elements. Even without the ash, it's doing wild damage on normal attacks.

I wanted to know; I know that multi hit effects don't affect regular perfume bottles, but do they work on rolling sparks, in which case, it would actually be better to run a build with multi hit talismans and perfume bottle talisman.

59:50 You can actually out range the shaman on top of that ledge with a great bow. I killed her with Radhan's bow in a few hits and she was unable to even cast any spells at me.

1 thing i wish fromsoft did or would update into the game is the ability to find the new weapon types earlier in the base game too. So if you want to do a fresh run you can pick up the Great Katana or the Backhand Blades. Kinda sucks having to wait till Mohg to get those. Unless you just bum rush Mohg and Radahn

Im not complaining at all iv played through the whole game and dlc 3 times since last weekend... im just saying it would of been cool of them to do that for the basic weapons. I did a run like that Build parfum + Aged One's Exultation talisman (you have to ve "infected" by madness) it's pretty broken honestly (Don't lock the ennemies/boss u just have to be next them and shoot on the floor (The attack is 10 times stronger cos it condenses the attack and makes it more powerful)

i think perfume bottles even without the bugged interaction are still S tier. Very strong damage, respectable poise damage, good buildup on poison and frenzy.

Their main strength is that you can somewhat reliably adapt between 2-3 different elements, but they're actually pretty bad ; bad range bad stance damage and just ok damage. There's also the whole ashe of war carrying these weapons entirely...

@@slothorne8222 They become somewhat usable when you're around level 120-150 and can use some that have double stat scaling tbh. Also the poison ones do purely physical damages which I feel like might be worth looking into. And those weapons should always be used 2handed obviously (it''s dual wield). Main issue with the poison one is that you can't change the ashe of war, it only does a self poison shower but maybe it could have some use idk

This run was super easy in my opinion. I personally only play souls games blindfolded with my hands dipped in butter, thumbtacks on all input buttons, no headphones only a 1870's era phonograph for audio, shoes on the wrong feet, and no leveling. Idk just feels better imo.
