you know what would be a really funny (and/or fun) idea? "Can YOU beat [insert game]?" where there's no extra challenge, but the game is still approached in this "here are all the times I had some amount of difficulty" sort of instructional format

Would be fun, though impossible in at least one game that I noticed (one of the first three) because of the big rectangle of p-block bricks/coins unless there's a secret exit i missed ofc

i remember that according to the smb 1 manual in that game at least toads were literally transformed into objects, brick blocks included

That's not exactly true. They got turned into the hidden/invisible blocks that can't be broken and give Mario power ups, not any brick blocks

@@onlookerofthings6029 thanks for correcting me on that. i thought the mention of them being "turned into stones, bricks and field horse-hair plants" would have meant that some turned into the brick blocks that can break.

There is a secret exit in 5-2 that even skips the ghost portion of Soda Jungle, which would have been easier

Soda jungle 2 has an exit that skips the tower. It makes bricks appear as a path tho. Ironic isnt it?

We need more kirby jumpless. Heroes in another dimension (Need 100 hearts for three mage sisters), Guest star Three Mage Sisters, Dark Meta Knight, Tarzana, Rick Kine and Coo, and more basic enemy guest star (with jump replacements of course and all the dream friends have a jump replacement I checked not daroach though 😥).

Can you beat any of the Super Mario All Stars (not World) games without touching Bricks outside of cutscenes? Answer: Probably not. SMB 1 and The Lost Levels have a staircase made of Bricks at the end of each level that you must climb. SMB 3 has entire platforms and I think a few stairs that are made of Bricks too.

I didn't go over the boss fight because there are basically no bricks in it. Yes, bowser destroys a bunch of walls for you to progress in the fight, but those walls are not made of brick blocks. They're just normal castle ground material.
