Not exactly, he has his own opinions, which doesn't mean they will be the same as everyone else's. Additionally, it's very subjective. If he plays a good game on a bad day, his perceptions will be altered. Playing one game after another can lead to boredom and playing out of obligation, which changes his perception. Sometimes, your experience will vary from one game to another depending on your mood. It is literally impossible to say which are the best since everyone has different criteria and experiences, but it is possible to find an average. I myself disagree with many of the ratings he has given to the games I know (which are not few).

The reason we didn't get Earthbound on the N64 was development hell. Mother 3 on the N64 was being worked on even before the release of the N64 but was stuck in Development Hell similarly to how Mother 1 and Mother 2 were. Mother 2 took about 5 years to develop which to put things in perspective, Final Fantasy 6 only took a little over a Year.

bluegill are a great fish. they fight like hell and are good eating. great for small ponds. also yeah. bass like to hide near any structure. the shadier the better. they hunt mainly by sight but have a 'lateral line' down the length of their body. it senses tiny disturbances in the water current that are left by a swimming prey item. it helps them hone in on an item and track it through murky/dim conditions. when they strike, they open their gigantic mouth and simply engulf their target. the mouth opens so quickly it creates a vacuum and the item is powerless to stop it. think of it like a tiny green tiger that lives underwater. kind of terrifying.
@xaphon89
@xaphon89 5 ай бұрын
Bluegill also will bite just about anything, it's hard not to catch them in some parts, so it can be fun just getting bite after bite. One summer my wife and I fished almost every day at a nearby pond. I was in it for trout, but she would take home like 20 bluegill each day and eat them all lol. I never caught a single trout.

Quest 64 is one of those rpgs where if you do the necessary grinding to be able to comfortably fight the bosses, no other rpg grind will phase you. Also, it felt cool traveling around the world and islands. The atmosphere of traveling around in the bright sunny day to the contrast of the dark and constricting dungeon maps was enjoyable. I don't know I just loved the game. Super fun for me as a kid. This will probably be similar to the comment I make when you get to that game 😂

There are fan translations of some fairly niche Japanese titles, like Densha de Go!, so I'm surprised there hasn't been a fan translation for this game from Itoi-san's rather dedicated English-speaking fans. Maybe there just isn't any interest, as it seems like the appeal of this game was the real-life competition Nintendo held on release, a followup to the earlier Satellaview competitions with the original Super Famicom version.
