Me too , before the merge ,he was 100% villain . He was the best villain of TVD . Klaus or Silas or Katherine or even Sybil had a soft spot .but Kai was 100% Evil and I was so afraid of him . I wish they bring him back in legacies .

He was the toughest villain in the entire TVD not because he was barbaric and monstrous but because his wickedness and cold hearted evilness was extremely well disguised in his siring attractive personality and the cute heartwarming sarcastic hotness 🌝

Nah, cuz if they're too bad without any redeeming qualities for too long then they just became hated by everyone n ppl will just want them to die. He could have been redeemed JUST enough but kept his personality quirks, humor, and sudden violent tendencies when someone deserved it.

Each "bad" person has a reason for why they became evil Kai - his parents liked his other siblings better, his siblings hated him, he didn't fit in kol - his siblings didn't like him and he didn't fit in klaus - he was abused by his parents damon - his mom died, the love of his life betrayed him, even his own father disowned him katherine - her whole family was murdered and for her whole life she was afraid of getting killed so she never stopped running

He kidnaps her,stabs her and does bad things to her but let's not forget his family NEVER showed love towards him and maybe this is how he "shows" it to her,He doesnt know how to treat her but she's the Only thing He loves and thinks about. Tbh I ship bonkai so hard

vanessa s well duh that’s what love does, inspires people to change. but this is so different to just two regular people falling in love. bonnie could probably never have loved kai like that. it would have taken her years to so calledly get over the trauma and even then it doesnt just go away. and besides, bonnie loved compassionate and caring people. kai just wasnt that. he obviously could have cared but not in the way bonnie needed. sorry to burst your bubble but them two together? just toxic :/

I still believe TVD failed to use Kai Parker to his full potential. Character and story wise he could have been involved in such a huge part of the overall story and he was killed off too early (even though he was trapped but you know what I mean) in the show.
