Completely agree. I'm legitimately disappointed with these headphones.

I've said it before, and I think this is more evidence: Beats is the redheaded stepchild of Apple headphones/earbuds. They don't want to do anything to compete with the AirPods because that's their main line. They're very intent on letting you know that if you buy Beats, they'll be inferior to AirPods. No offense to redheaded stepchildren out there. :)

Thank you for you honesty and review,i almost bought them,im keeping my Studio 2 wireless and Solo 3,they have the classic heavy bass,i got the studio pro and return it the same day,low quality and no bass even without dolby atmos,you the only person on youtube with a real honest review

100% agree with you on the Solo Pro being #1, I've seen so many videos on these that actually make me debate whether or not I want to buy these even on sale, though I'd like to do a video on the Solo3 vs Studio3 vs Solo Pro vs Studio Pro vs Solo4 and that's one of the big reasons I was anticipating these along side the Solo3 finally getting a refresh.

Yeah i don't even consider beats no more. I think if apple gave the beats products the great transparency mode that Airpods have they would really compete

I honestly am hard pressed to find a reason to buy beats with the value out their today. Yes I do understand the brand recognition but I think that brand recognition isn’t as big as it used to be.

You would think they could have updated the solo pro.

I have the Beats Solo 3 and it has good sound quality and the Beats Solo 4 has a bit of noise cancellation as I tried it at the Apple Store

These look like some cheap ass Five Below headphones. Problem is people are dumb enough to buy them because they think it's the cool thing to do.

Yeah but they work for them even though I would have like to see anc and ambient mode. They need to release solo pro 2 with better fit and more comfortable and your right . I was hoping better build quality. Since I own solo 3s and mine snapped easily so I am worried about buying these

Look at like this. Apple bought it from Dr Dre. I had the buds power beats and solo 3. I use my AirPods Pro’s more than any one of them. I feel like apple make low quality headphones and make the headphones a little better and louder

Studio pro @ $179 is actually a good deal, especially if you're in both the Apple and Android ecosystems

They're already on sale at Best buy (not sure if it's because I'm a total member) for $150. Not bad IMHO As far as the headphones goes I'm more interested in SQ over a new build. I'll take the better SQ if it's better. Actually being wired I like it. Also apple will never support higher res audio because they only support AAC and SBC. Their phones only support that .

When u don't have jack in your phone then this is not lossless audio for u. Kinda useless buying it at this point. Glad there are soundcore,soundpeats etc

I don't understand everyone's obsession with ANC. I think it's a nice touch, but I want headphones that focus on sound quality, or having a sound signature that isn't just "Bass". It seems like nowadays all anyone cares about is "does it have ANC?".

While Beats will always be my favorite brand when it comes to nostalgia 10-15 years ago (and my undying love for the discontinued Beats Pro), the brand is definitely starting to fade and lose it's appeal. I bought a pair of Studio Pros and yeah they're decent, but a far cry from what I really want from a pair of flagship Beats. The AirPods line are the modern day Beats....the heyday of the Beats brand was really from 2011-2016, which ironically is when the first gen AirPods came out.
