I prefer the solo pro over the solo 3. The Solo Pro’s tone down the bass, but offer a nice and balanced sound. The anc isn’t as good as that of the Bose or sony, but they still do a good job at blocking out ambient noise. They are built well and have excellent connectivity. Comfort wise, the solo pros take some getting used to. The first couple weeks I wore them, my ears would getting sore after about 1 hour and 30 mins of wearing them. I’ve found that after a couple of months they break in and get way comfier. I can wear them for more than 5hrs without my ears hurting. Overall they’re a solid pair of headphones.

I got the Solo 3 for by my girlfriend. The beats Ep for outdoors. And the studio 3 for my video’s to edit. And the Beats Pro aswell.

they are great headphones definitely the best solo beats they made so far. Bass heavy beats were not making it in this metas industry. The solo 3s sound good to you joe because how harsh the bass is and it sounds louder but is actually the opposite.

i have both and i think for casual use, the pros are better. but when it comes to working out in the weight room, i gotta go with the 3s. its louder and that extra bass really gets the pump going

i mean, if you have iphone, you can go in your music settings and change EQ to reduced bass, increased bass, and different sound variations

I had two solo 3s. The first pair on the right side stopped working, the second pair cheap plastic broke. I just got the pros & the quality of it feels so much better than the 3s

PSA: The Beats Solo Pros are $99 and the 3’s are $130 at Walmart for Black Friday 2021. The solos are the full $299 and 3’s are $99 at Target for black Friday 2021. * Yes, they are mostly sold out online. Though I found MULTIPLE pairs of the solos in person at Walmart even at 8AM on Black Friday. You can prob still find them, and check the return’s counter for ppl that ended up returning some after changing their minds etc. I, for example, bought solos in two different colors and returned the ones I ended up liking less.

I just bought the solo3 today for $99.discounted by 50% or $100. I already own the Powerbeats pro with wrap around ear buds. I’m happy with both and will use both of them a lot for different purposes.I have all Apple products so I like how seamlessly these all work.

Active noise cancelling is one more feature that can be compromised which will make the headphones themselves intolerable if you don’t send them to get repaired. The build of the solo3 is more compact with less exposed hardware. For those reasons as well as the 40hr battery life, the solo3 is better. I’m sure they both charge quite quickly but I’ve never had a single problem with them.

This is true. Since we do work on headphones we have not seen that cause very many issues, but i can totally see that becoming more of an issue in the future.

The solo pros feel better doesn’t feel uncomfortable over time and has better bass but the high pitches and tones are better in the threes but on the pro you get no sound leakage which was so bad in the 3s and everyone could hear my music solo pros prevent that and the pros are water resistant very worth it unless you like your music uncompressed

Id stay with the Studio 2s because they stay on your head better. And debatably have better audio.

I need your help, I have solo beats 2 I haven’t use for 4yr. When I tried to turn them on I noice they would not come on or charge. I was thinking maybe the battery went dead. I brought a new battery and install it. The beats do come on with a red light and a white light on each side of the earphones. They will not charge. I’ve tried everything I mean everything including buying a new charger.

You may have a bad 5 core wire. Also, have you tried a reset?

My beats solo3 broke about 8 months ago, that same issue everyone is having where one side goes out, and just ordere solo pro coming Saturday. Hopefully it’s better for me

If you have a iPhone go to Settings, Music, EQ and then choose Bass if you’d like more bass!

Muddy bass isnt always better. For better bass the sol republic outrank them. People by beats because they look beautiful. But beautiful sometimes lacks substance like the solo3 do .😅
