My cousin had a pair she didn’t use of the Bose and i got them for only 50$. I have those and the wired ones for my laptop and other things. I used to have the beats and they didn’t sound even remotely as good as the Bose. I definitely recommend the Bose, they are worth the price

I found with my bose that especially with rock music when they emphasize the guitars play the back music and instruments dropes and when they stop the guitar the ba k music goes back up. Is there anyone found the same problem ?

Have the Beats X and Jaybird x3. Beats are way more comfortable (for me), but they don’t make a noise when you power on, only when they connect. Drives me nuts

I love my BOSE! I use them in the gym all the time. Also you can pair it to 2 different devices at the SAME time. Watch a movie on your computer then your phone rings and the audio goes to the phone. Also if your friend has Bose you can both listen to music from the same phone. Multiple languages for Bose head phones.

I got the Beats x a few weeks ago for $89 at Best Buy. For that price they are excellent. Also like the noise isolation. Bose is good but very bulky in the ear. Do a comparison on best completely wireless air buds with noise isolation or cancellation. I think this market is going to be huge and one of already been exploring for a while. Thanks for the video

I bought the Beats X *because* of the fact that it insulates me from ambient noise. I don’t *want* to hear what’s going on around me - that’s the main reason I’m listening to them in the first place. But, to be fair, I don’t jog on public roads where I’d need to be aware of traffic. You *have* to get the fit between the Beats X and your ear-canal correct, or the sound will be very thin with very little bass. But once you *do* get it right? Man - they sound fantastic! With regards to your complaint about not knowing the battery-level on the Beats X - if you have them paired with an iOS device, you can add the “Battery Widget” to your widgets screen, and instantly see the amount of battery you have left, just by swiping right from your home screen. Much easier than working your way through the Settings app to find it. Also cool - if you have the battery widget on, say, your iPhone, but you’re currently paired with your iPad, the iPhone will *still* show the battery level, even though it’s not actively using them. As long as your iPhone and iPad are both on the same iTunes account, and your iPhone is within Bluetooth range of the Beats X headphones. Oh, and Beats X may *claim* an 8-hour battery-life, but it’s closer to 6 hours in my experience. But it does charge every bit as fast as they claim, so it’s never been an issue for me getting “only” 6 hours out of it. Hell, a 10 minute coffee break, and you’ve got 60% battery life back. It’s crazy how fast it’ll charge using an iPad’s 2.4W charger. I really like that feature.

I have to disagree. For the BeatsX it is very easy to find the battery percentage. There is a Notification Center widget with the percentage. It’s also in control center. Same with the connection status. There is an icon in the status bar that shows up when they’re connected as well as the control center... I don’t really know how it can get easier than that.

I bought both to try with an open mind and the Bose sound quality is superior which is my main concern

Great job on the field demonstration and comparison even on how much battery life it has 👍 For ear buds it's hard for companies to produce that bass quality and I don't like the ear muffs to work out in. Bose is definitely the boss!

I like the way my Bose sound but my ears are really small and, even with the smallest tips, my buds are never super secure. They do sound good and I do like the app.

how can i clean my beatsX

I’m a beats x user I got them in black love em plus the lighting cable & 8hr charge is a must for me including a 15 minute charge you get 3 hrs of battery not bad 😎.

I have both, got the BeatsX first and they kept falling out when I ran, or laid down on a workout bench. Also with the W1 chip still hard to connect to iPhone or Mac, wasn't sure if it was connected. Also the BeatsX cord is a bit too long for my liking. Love the Bose top notch

If you used the Bose while riding a bike or running I am surprised you did not mention the loud wind noise. I never had this problem with my wired Bose headset but the way they stick out of your ear causes a lot of noise in the wind. Other than that the Bose are great!

But the Beats X are not made for working out...

Those particular Beats daily use last approximately 18 months I'm using the Bose Soundsport I'll be back in 18 months to let you know how they held up.

The one thing I hate about my Bose Soundsport is that the cord is too short I have long dreads and I have to fight to get the cord past my hair also that clip is a pain it ripped at the hair at the back of my head.

I did not have any problems with disconnecting from my iPhone with the beats

I use the Bose Soundsport. I understand why Bose design it bulky. When I train sometime quick movement or the the shirt pulled it of my ear and it's very easy to grab it without looking and putting it back in yr ear. I thought its very clever. It is the biggest wireless ear bud out there's but it's practical. I train at the gym everyday and I use this device extensively and I recommend to anyone.

If we are looking at workout headphones, it should be the Powerbeats3 wireless versus the Bose sound sport.

I got both of them but bose is better the only thing I don’t like is the Clip which I lost it. For the beats X they are light and charge fast but I hate the power button sometimes you don’t know if is on or off

I love Bose but I use the Beats X almost everyday. Great for phone calls and great battery life. They are super convenient and if they run low I used my iPhone cable for like 5 min and I’m good for the remaining of the day. I always check the battery life by control center. A little bit harder to check the battery when using android devices. I would finding it drop or die because I didn’t have it available to views so easily. I’ve used Jaybirds, sol republic and still Beats X have been by far the best pair of Bluetooth headphones 🎧 I’ve ever purchased. I’ve known a few who have returned their Bose sports. Do look for discount. I found the Beats x on sale for around $99 at the right time. Finally yes yes get them in BLACK!!

I'm a huge audiophile and have owned both. I returned the Beats as the sound is just so flat, but it is a lot more comfortable. I own monster beats from 2009 that perform so much better and I still use them now with a light weight bluetooth receiver clip. The Bose hands down in this comparison beats those Beats. I purchased both at a sale price and even at a much lower price I didn't feel the Beats were worth owning.

Any other Bluetooth wireless I tried gave me stereo sound but when I put on the Bose Bluetooth wireless it was as if I was right there on stage with the band hearing it live nothing compares to Bose

For best bang for the money get the Anker SoundBuds lite. I think they have really good sound, noise cancelling, water resistant. 10 hours of playback and I find them pretty comfortable. I wear them all day at work and then go to the gym without a charge. Plus $40 or less. Come on CNET let's test these babies against the big brands.

I’m siding towards Bose as I live in Florida and take public transit so for me any headphones (wired or wireless) must be at least moisture/sweat resistant plus Bose is well known for their years of experience in not only superb audio quality (since Bose started by bringing the audio of the theater into one’s home) but sound customer support a portfolio which Beats sadly lacks. In fact just earlier this year some Bose Soundproof Wireless users complained of sweat damage and Bose not only replied with an apology but released an improved version in August to replace it.

BeatsX very comfortable for me and stay in ear, plus the look much cleaner .

After a month with the beats x the little plastic logo began tearing and the earpiece completely ripped. Bose are 2 months in and are perfectly fine

I know bose soundsport wireless gets lots of negative reviews so far for few months owing them don't use much but last night use for about and hour or so playing call of duty cold war play songs will see over time if they are still good or not

The awesome thing about the beats is that they can give you 2 hrs of playback time on a 5 minute quick charge, and bose gives you only 1 hr playback time on a 15 minute charge, which is quite disappointing. Also, beats have a much better battery life than bose, which for me is quite important. All in all, I prefer beats over bose any time. 👍

My Bose Soundsport wireless completely died after a couple of months. Won't even turn on.
