It’s a difficult one because the WSL in its current form will no longer exist from next season, it’s going to be a brand new league with the history carried over. Also as Gabby rightly pointed out the style of football has changed drastically especially over the last couple of years. We’re seeing a combination of Total Football and ball playing / possession based technical football as opposed to 1950’s English defending. A lot of players have evolved over the last decade too. If we’re talking about the most successful, then Millie Bright and Magdalena Eriksson. Karen Bardsley is definitely the right choice for goalkeeper. Bronze and McCabe for the fullback positions.

1.Faye White 2.Millie Bright 3.Alex Scott 4.Mary Phillip 5.N/A Honourable mentions: Katie McCabe,Gemma Bonner,Gilly Flaherty,Katie Chapman,Magda Eriksson,Steph Houghton,Jess Carter,Maren Mjelde,Hannah Blundell,Rebecca Spencer,Karen Bardsley,Lucy Bronze,Mary Earps Sjoeke Nüsken,Emily Fox,Eve Perisset,Niamh Charles,Leah Williamson,Alex Greenwood,Laura Wienroither,Hannah Hampton,Khiara Keating,Jorelyn Carabali,Charlotte Grant(maybe more) and Nathalie Björn need at least 3 more years to be in the conversation. Ona Batlle,Ali Riley and Rafaelle De Souza in a short space of time easily could have been an honourable mention but not enough time to make it for me.

Karen also played with Ol Reign and I am ever so grateful we got to see here in our colours! But I also think Leah Williamson beats out Millie in this top three...I think Jenn got that right!
