She needs to have more confidence in herself. Imo we could be looking at the first female player to break into the top 32. She’s already miles better than a lot of players on the tour like Tricole, etc.

She's definitely got the game to be a top 32 player for sure !!! The pro tour is brutal though and relentless. You got to be ready to go into that

@@mattd6514I think you may well be wrong,she has an absolutely brilliant throw and a great temperament and i did say a good while back she could make the top 32,I think she has done everything in the correct way not pushing herself to quickly she's a level headed lass and actually seems a really nice lass and great not just for woman's darts but darts in general.

A seen a short documentary about her when she had the problem releasing her darts. Ive looked everywhere for it and cant find it to watch again. Respect to her cos shes playing great atm.

I think taking it slow and gradually playing in PDC with the 2 womens slots for worlds she can gain confidence that way. Shes superb and can play at a world class standard.

It's been a real treat seeing Beau in the Modus series...even if she should have blatantly been in the A group. I have watched her for a few years now and never really understood why she wasn't on the PDC tour. I understand a bit more now but I would love to see THIS Beau Greaves back at the Ally Pally....then we would have a new Queen of the palace.

I can certainly see her rationale for not vying for the PDC (at least not yet.) The choice between playing in the PDC WC or the WDF WC was a choice between a guaranteed £7500 (or £15000 if she won her opener), or favourite to become 2x WDF WWC with a £25000 prize attached to it. As Greaves herself alludes to, the PDC is restrictive, in that once you have a tour card, you can ONLY play PDC-sanctioned events. So no WDF events or WDF opens, no ADC, no Modus. This can severely curtail any earnings/winnings given the depth in the PDC ranks; Greaves likely learned this from her opening defeat to O'Connor back in the 2023 WC. As an example, consider the former PDC player Steve West. Can play on the WDC and Modus platforms, and already has won the latter four times - that's £80000 right there. A nice little earner, but with the freedom to play in other events and platforms.

@@Cobalt180Darts That's a great post my friend, and explains perfectly why Beau doesn't want to go there. She is blatantly good enough for the PDC but doesn't want the restrictions and hamster wheel obligations that go with that. I watched her interview on Modus and I kind of got the feeling she is not the most confident person and maybe doesn't realise just how good she is. I hope Beau does whatever makes her happy and earns her the most money. Thanks for reply.

Beau you are more than good enough to be in the PDC, i understand your own thoughts on it but your averages speak for themselves. To be brutally honest your way better than the WDF.

For being so young, she talks really well. Lots of interesting views you might not get from other players. If she gets some more confidence in herself, I think she could change the game for real.

When Greaves was 15 she played Littler (who was 12) in a youth final. Her form had begun to dip and Littler smashed her 5-1.

You do not TAKE a tour card ! It is a weeks hard work against not only equally minded" i WANT" a tour card to blokes who lost their tour card after 2 years in it. She IS capable but SHE obviously feels now is not the time!

Shes a really good player who has not had the same opportunities handed to her than Sharrock who is a worse player....i wonder why..? If her head is in the game she is competitive enough to do well in the PDC

Rubbish. Sherrock won a qualifier and won 2 games at the PDC Worlds which got publicity and got her the World Series of Darts. COVID delayed it and the hype died down, but then she made a World Series final and the Grand Slam quarters so she still got the World Series the next year. If Greaves did the same she'd get similar opportunities. Greaves has been more consistent overall, but hasn't hit Sherrock's heights in mixed play that would get the hype train at full speed.

@@bigjohny8446 who said i was talking about the pdc ? the only reason the pdc dont name it as a mens tour is so that women can play in it. you try playing in the womens tour if your a man you got no chance and the same should be the other way round.the women have got their own series now as well as the wdf tournaments they shouldnt need to play in the mens.
