Beau Has a Cardiologist Follow-Up - Fairfax, VA, USA

Ай бұрынLast Monday, Beau got his 6-month follow-up echocardiogram and the results were super! You can watch the whole video to hear the veterinary cardiologist explain it all. Annual testing (Holter and echo) can catch DCM at a treatable (not curable) stage and I was so excited that he got cleared to go another 9-12 months before a recheck!! A huge thank you to CVCAVets.com, Dr. Vigeral and her team!
Note:I know how incredibly fortunate I am that I can afford to give Beau the best treatment possible. Not everyone is in that situation and I never take it for granted.

Thank you!! He was doing his best to get into mischief. 😁 It is a weight off my mind to know that they saw nothing that necessitates a 6-month (or less) check-up. So, we celebrate!

You are such a good owner. Thank you for posting this video. It is especially important for Doberman owners, as you know, to get the tests and become educated on the symptoms for DCM. For all other dog owners reading this comment, please follow Beau's owners example. I also realize how stressful getting these tests and fearing the worst can be for the owner. Beau is awesome and so are you.

How old is Beau? I love the red Dobermans,and had four boys like that.I also had a fawn girl who I lost last summer to DCM,she was ten years old.

He will be 4 at the end of this month. I hope I get 10 years out of Beau. I am sure you are missing your girl but it sounds like you gave her a great life. 🩵
