The lads are joined in studio by special guest Beauden Barrett this week as they discuss what's behind the All Blacks' huge win, the big performers and what went wrong for the Springboks. A scratchy Black Ferns performance is also put under the microscope while Eddie Jones' Wallabies suffer another disappointing loss.

Feel there is more than just something up our coach's sleeve though. Defence seemed a bit different, as well as non-contesting lineouts. It was poetry in motion and hard to watch as a bok supporter, however, memorized by the All blacks perfection and humbled by their execution . The attacking kicking was exceptional with every ball being within reach of the attackers in stead of deep deep and just trowing the ball away. When your forwards can keep the speed to support in numbers and compete along with the attacking backs it makes the kicks very effective when within reach.

I've been a huge critic of Beaudy past couple months or so especially his form during Super & to be honest it was justified as he was pretty poor throughout but also him being picked at the back when we already have two world class fbs is another reason why the critism as I'm a huge Stevenson & Jordan fan but I'll admitt he's had two pretty good test matchs against two very physical teams & having that extra kicker at the back brings variations on attack in which now we are finally seeing even though Stevenson has a massive punt & Jordan's not too bad either, I now see Beaudy as a fb so Mo'unga & McKenzie should definitely be the interchangeable 10's moving forward!

Beaudy always has delivered for the All Blacks, it’s hard to say if he was even out of form, he’s been playing with a weak blues team, I don’t see any first five lifting the blues up. It’s hard to fathom that someone who was supposedly out of form is now suddenly world class, leads me to believe that he’s been in the wrong environment with the blues and just hasn’t had great coaching. Beauden has been exceptional so far at fullback and in my opinion and should continue his combination with Mounga.

All Blacks were sublime in the first 20 min but it is important to note the Springboks didn't jump for 1 lineout so as to see the All Blacks best attack with perfect ball. I believe they also didnt try push for a right shoulder in the scrums making it easier for the AB backs to launch perfectly off the scrums and the Springboks exit plays were non traditional so as the All Blacks dont get used to it. This lends me to think that this game was used as a training exercise for the Springboks in preparation for a potential QF match up between the two.

@Peter-yb8ys So your basically saying the Springboks threw this game to see What the ABs have up there sleeve. That's a rather big statement to make. When it comes to South Africa and the Allblacks they are rivals from a way back so I think this game both teams will want to of won. Either way it's irrelevant to when it comes to the world cup anyway. The pressures are different and teams may have injuries by then with different players and tactics used so the pictures are likely to be different from the ABs also. I believe the game at Twickenham against the Boks if anything I can see the ABs rolling out different players for that one so there will be a lot of chess played in that game just before the world cup.
@thefobbie0034

@@Peter-yb8ys - NO the Boks were forcing the ABs to throw the ball to the front by loading their tall jumping PODs from mid-to-the-end of the lineout to compete for the ball in the air there a) therefore this causes the pass coming from Smith is in the air longer because it has to travel further to Mounga giving the Boks defensive line time to rush up and cut down the AB attack space and in particular its speed of the AB attack line! b) Those Boks forwards at the back of the lineout are able to go across, join and assist the defensive line because they have NOT been committed to the lineout because the ball was thrown to the front of the lineout! That is why the Boks did NOT NEED to compete in the front - it is smart rugby! Has nothing to do with keeping their cards close to the chest!

This is all because of of the All Blacks coaches, and especially Head coach Ian Foster where great credit and recognition must be given for his strategic method and resiliennce of his game planning he has brought into the game. Ian Foster had his ups and downs as All Blacks coach when he took over 2018 or 2019 from Steve Hansen as coach. But one cannot deny how magnificent all this is truely favoring the events for the management staff and the players taking the responsibility themselves. Let all New Zealand people and from all over the World give our support and backing to the Men in Black. Go All Blacks.

I thought the Boks scrum still got away with a lot even though the referee did get the penalties correct when the Boks dropped the scrums. BUT the rules say that the engagement is suppose to be a slot in, hold the power then power on when the ball is put in - the Boks were charging in with a drive on engagement! This automatically puts the opponent scrum under stress when the opponent is slotting into engagement! One thing - the quickest way to get out of your own half is to kick! The quickest way to go from your 22m to the opposition 22m is to kick! That first 20 minutes was about the ABs ability to put pressure on the Boks! We need to get better at that for us to win the RWC!

Its a clear knock on from Kolbe when the ball hits his left hand after the 1st bounce of the ball! You can see it clearly! BUT lets say Kolbe did NOT knock it on and a try was awarded that would have taken the game to 17-5 or 17-7 and at that time the Boks did have momentum due to vital errors from the ABs at that time BUT it would have been very hard to determine anything because everything has then changed in terms of events on the timeline because what is to say that the ABs may scored after that or the Boks may have scored again? Therefore you cannot say its a different game because you don't know what would have happened!!

I’d go for Retallick as my 19 option and start Whitelock. If the Abs are looking to replace the impact of Frizzell, there’s no one better than Brodie R. Jacobson in the 20. Tamaiti usually plays close to 70 minutes a game so he’d have loads of energy to spare in an impact role. It’s a coin toss between Taylor and Samisoni and, given the former has found his feet again, I’d start Taylor. If the Abs can tighten that 2nd half lag with some Chiefs Mana Bomb Squad, we could be looking at some tasty World Cup quarter finals. Great show as per usual... studio is looking clean. Nice to see Beauden on as well with some great insights. 114 caps and counting 💪💪💪

There is absolutely zero chance of Retallick not starting, slim to none and slims left town, Taylor has improved his throwing but its still suspect, id start samasoni for 55-60 then Coles to finish if he aint injured, coles offers more in every aspect as was evidenced against argies

The All Blacks were manipulating the line out by standing more than 2 metres from the indicated spot given by assistant referee. The result was the Boks had to stay at the given line while the ABs dropped deeper so the Boks were unable to compete for the ball. The ref blew it once then proceeded to ignore it for the rest of the game. Watch the footage again and you will see what I mean. Taking away one of the 2 set pieces negated any pressure the Boks could apply to the ABs.

NZ fans are so cocky right now . Praising the same players they were shaming only a few months ago… having said that, Boks lost the match fair and square. They didn’t show up in the first half, looked flat, didn’t compete on line outs, and made errors and the pressure increased. .. one thing I have seen is that when you are playing well, you get the 50/50 calls. .. Ref missed a few calls for both sides, breakdown was a free for all. SA need to be street smart, the way the AB were throwing into the line out, with Cody stealing meters for example, got pinged once, but got away with it a couple of times..

have you ever watched SA rugby magazine - go check it out. Have you ever read your own journalists and fans. Come on. we're talking about how well the boys played, that's not cocky., Your lot slammed how the ABs would be beaten, the bomb squad was way too good, and you will win in Auckland... blah blah blah - mirror - take a look.

Us having much more mobile props was never highlighted more than when you watch the reply of that first try. Only a few mins in and his just jogging into position without any hurry. Sure he'll get chewed out over it on review, but i think that first 20mins of intensity has been what the ABs have been missing. Last 12 months, it was always slow starts, then we'd close the game out strong, but were being found lacking when we could do that. So now if we start hard, we're finding that teams cant contain us. Its almost like we're facing teams that havent warmed up yet and using that to our advantage
