Today’s hair tutorial is a beautiful braided ponytail for summer! This hairstyle has an easy technique that makes it great for shorter, medium, and long hair hair lengths. I’ve shared a lot of unique braids over the years, and I’ve seen them recreated and worn to proms, graduations, science fares, even weddings! I love how they make such a statement, and I hope you do too. This is one of the more difficult braids I’ve shared over the years, and I linked some other unique braids below if you’re up for the challenge!

I'll try it. I somehow hurt my right shoulder so I'm not sure if it can handle this right now but I can try. If anything I think I could turn it into a half up do using smaller sections. 😁

It's super cool! I tried it on myself like an hour ago and it's cute and comfortable for the most part (coming from someone with waist-length hair)! I messed up a little, so it looks a little messy but still cute I think for the first try...Ngl it took me a whole hour to figure out how to do the actual braid and then another hour just to braid it! I ended up not being able to do the braiding part very well at the end of my head so I ended up just putting elastics in a way that created similar bubbles lol- ALSO for anyone wondering about how the heck to get the elastics out, I recommend just getting the v-shaped cuticle cutter and just cutting them and drag them out so you don't have to pull your hair out ;)

I'm getting so ollllld, and I love cute, classic, sophisticated, fun, well actually most braided hairstyles. Unfortunately I feel like I shouldn't wear them all. This is one I can get away with and can't wait to try. I appreciate how you instruct and really teach and show and explain in your tutorials. I have thick, loosely wavey, Brunette hair that is down to just above my waist. I get many comments about how 49 is a good age to start wearing shorter hair. I do get it cut every year and half usually go my bra with trims every 3-4 months. Anywayyssss sunshine, I'm going to attempt this beautiful braid now. Thank you again for sharing.

Any texture spray, volume spray, or even a bit of mousse on damp hair will help. You want something that will add grip and texture to the hair.
