Actually Your Eyes Tell was written by the youngest member, Jungkook for his mixtape but it was chosen to be the OST of the Japanese movie by the same name. This movie tells the story of a blind girl and a guy who falls in love with her and they're actually connected with their past because he has something to do with the accident in which she lost her eyesight and family. He decides to take part in an underground fight to raise money and pay for her eye surgery. The lyrics of the song just hit harder when you know the story of the movie.

If I had to pick, it would be Yoongi (Suga/Agust D), but generally I’m OT7 - but Jimin was the very first member to catch my eye too, and you haven’t even seen him dance, not properly. They are all just really genuine, good men - don’t be fooled by the make up, hair colour, and pretty clothes - it’s just something they do because that is how “Idols” are supposed to look in Korea and it’s how fans have come to expect them to look on camera. So proud of jungkook for co-writing and composing this song for that Japanese movie!!! Even they all submitted songs for the movie and our little maknaes was the chosen one.. shouldn’t be surprised at anything the golden maknae does anymore lol what I love is his line distribution was equal for vocalists and the the rap parts are absolutely gorgeous and perfect for this type of song! He really showed how he respects them and what they bring to songs… v demonstrating his crazy wide range by being a baritone somehow hitting the same notes as the others lol suga and RMs raps slower with more texture added to the song balance out the high notes of the vocalists… hobis rap/song part is one of my favorite parts… but for the emotional peak of the song he chose jimin who has that little vocal cry in his voice that are perfect for emotion and same with same with jin… and Jins vocals always shine in Japanese and high notes and how he sings them… he brings you in to him with his emotion and it was absolutely breathtaking! I was so impressed with Jks lyrics and how poetic they are…. But he started the song and finished the song… but didn’t choose standout parts for himself which is 100% jk… he loves and respects his hyungs so much and he created this gorgeous song and his hyungs came to back him up and elevate this to a masterpiece… so beautiful… love them

As I've gotten older, one thing I've learned is that the people who are best at what they do are the people who never stop learning. Teachers, doctors, economists, plumbers and everyone in between. The people who stay current on advances in their professional fields, who keep educating & challenging themselves, they pretty much always prove to be the best of the best. BTS is the same. They came together as singers, dancers, rappers & performers, and worked to develop & refine their strengths, and to shore up their weaknesses. I remember when their album Persona came out, and J-Hope had written the song Dionysus, Suga said that a person wasn't supposed to keep getting better & better like that :). And RM has said that in the early years, he & Yoongi often told the younger members to listen to lots of different music, to get familiar with trends & styles. He said recently that now the younger members listen to more music than he does.. I could go on :). They have continued to build on what they've learned, and moreover to use those things to find the ways they can most authentically express themselves in music & performance. This song is just one more example, JK having composed it as a solo song, and then translating it to Japanese, working to adjust it to make it a piece for all 7 members - what a process that must have been. And the end result is simply stunning. Watching them evolve, seeing new aspects of who they are as time passes, connecting with them in new ways through their creativity.. it's why they are where they are today, and it's what makes the journey with them so very special & worthwhile. In addition to re-recording their Korean songs they have a number of Japanese only original songs. They really hit different in Japanese, it sounds even more beautiful. I think thats one of the reasons why Army loves them so much is just that they are so relatable in that way its so easy to connect with them. They have went through a lot of bad things but they stay humble and genuine, and they never left us behind and we are never going to leave them behind, Army and BTS love each other equally.
