I’ve hit up Horizon fest the last 3 years. This year I think I’m gonna hot up RC fest put on by one of horizon’s employees Adam Munds. It’s tge original RC fest that horizon actually copied to create their event. Adam created the event when he was 10 years old to benefit the HavLife foundation because he has to have monthly blood transfusions

I think it's cool that associated is offering it in a kit. I'll probably pick one up in kit form. Most of us that's been in the hobby for a while have electronics. So, depending on the price I will pick it up. That's the main reason why I haven't picked one of these up. I have a couple 4tecs and enjoy them. $250 for the brushed and licensed body. Associated is asking way too much for their brushed touring cars. $329! Also happy to see the Basecamp kit go on sale. Will be getting that for sure. We need more crawler kits. Especially since element discontinued theirs! That one really hurt. I loved the element kits lol. Hopefully they'll release a new kit.

The one event I look forward to every year is the "Southern Scale Trail" or "SST" down in Somerset, England, UK. Happens every September and is a great two-day event. Unfortunately I can't make it this year due to a family wedding, but it would be great to see you and Matt there next year.

My patience is so bad that I just won't order something that I have to wait for. Unless I REALLY want it. It's so bad that when Axial released info on the CJ-7, I decided to build a YJ instead. Now, several months into the build and a price tag that could buy right about 3 and quickly approaching 4 CJ's (and I'm not done accumulating parts), I see they might be off back order next month. I don't even want one now because I have to finish this damn YJ before I get another rig. I will say that I appreciate having Vanquish close enough that after a few beers on a Sunday afternoon, I can order something I definitely do not need and have it by Tuesday. So that's great. Good thing I only just learned this. I waited a week for some Team KNK wheels. Man, that was hard. 30 "working days"? Not a chance. I'll wait years for a used one to pop up on the marketplace, and if it's cheap enough, I might drive 10 minutes to pick it up. I don't care how badly I want it. Not that I do. But if it was something I wanted, still no dice.

It’s a one of a kind event because of the terrain Proline By The Fire is Rock Crawling heaven the event itself is so good very family oriented good access to everything clean restrooms god food but it’s the terrain that makes this event feel like you never want it to end. This will be my fourth year. See ya there. ❤🔥

Our family's favorite event is Axialfest Badlands. Haven't missed one. My kids talk about it year round to anyone who will listen.

By the fire is by far my favorite. I like that is focused on crawling over trailing. I was at BTC and will be at AFW with the FuriTek booth/team. Come say hi!

Regarding the USB GaN chargers, I'm fairly certain that neither company actually makes them. Looking at them, they are spot-on identical to units made & sold (meaning, they are the actual manufacturer) by Anker. As for the Rlaarlo MK-07, 30 days for the free "slow boat from China" shipping option isn't that bad. When I ordered my second electric skateboard, I had the "within 7 days" option, which cost $200, or the 'free' option. I chose the 'free' option...and, slightly more than 2 months later, I finally had my Esk8 delivered. Finally, for this week's question, honestly, I don't have any "must go to" events. Since moving from San Jose (where we had an outstanding indoor track at NorCal Hobbies), to Las Vegas (where the only indoor track, 702 Speedway) closed three years ago), I have no place to compete, thus I started selling off my comp vehicles (starting with my crawlers). There's an outdoor dirt track (Silver Bowl) in Henderson, and a lake (Sunset Park Lake) near the airport...plus, as many know, one of the largest races (Silver State) was just held at the South Point...but, there really nothing else even close. Plus, with the constantly-charging work schedule, it makes it near-impossible to even schedule time off to travel elsewhere. Such is life..........

First time to Beat the creek, definitely worth the 7 hour drive, will definitely be back to this event, the hosts where amazing

There's not many events in the UK, this year I am going to UK Scale Nationals, previous years I've been to Southern Scale Trail and Funduro as well. Crawling in the UK is very much comprised of small local groups for the most part.

I've had zero $ for anything extra this year and my RC budget is tapped out. The only purchase I have planned all year is a set of clear Currie axles for my Phoenix kit, that is when I can start moving some $ into the budget. The distance to any event is a limiting factor to participation, I have lots of time, but with that comes no income, sad but true.

My must go to event since 2017 has been UTV Takeover at Coos Bay Oregon the third week in June. Think about heading up next year... I should have my 4 seater by then.

BTC 2024 was awesome! The weather was nice, the trails were perfect, and vendors row had 67 participants. I will be working BTF with FuritekUSA this year. This will be my first time at BTF, and I am looking forward to making that event. I will also be attending Axialfest at the Badlands. But... I'm realy looking forward to BTF.

I want to do an Axial Fest. I'm on the other side of the world so it's a bucket list thing for me.... I'd bring my original AX-10 and both my Axial based scale builds . 6th scale Willys scratch build on AR60s and my version of the Bruiser Buggies that Clifton Slay used to build...

Great Lakes Gauntlet here in Michigan. Brings people from tons of states. Awesome event on an awesome piece of property.

Crawlapalooza in Disney is my go to every year. So many options. Almost too much RC in one weekend.

I am planning on going to Axialfest West and Pro-Line By the Fire. I will be traveling from Idaho.

I am going to RC Fest in Tuscola IL. It’s a small town, but a great event that is huge! Much better than Horizon RC Fest.

This year all my builds/focus is geared towards Apex & Crawlapalooza at Disney, OK later this year.

Beat the Creek. This is the first time in years that I have missed it. But I will be attending Rocktober at the same location.

I’m all about the Hoonacorn kits, saves me the money from ripping the stick electronics out and replacing all the garbage. I think one of the biggest misses is Arrma stoping to make the EXB kits.

The new Hoonicorn/Hoonitruck builder’s kits are a nice upgrade. They take out the electronics, but they give you upgraded Factroy Team Shocks, adjustable turnbuckles, CVA drive shafts and swaybars. I think that’s a great trade off giving you the upgrades and allowing you to add your own electronics. This is more geared towards the more experienced RC hobbyists.

I want to go to that Super scale event in Germany, a few friends where there some years ago and said it was amazing, just what you expect from a german event focused on nerdy stuff

The only RC events anywhere around here are small(ish) comps, maybe if I'm bored enough to travel an hour

I love my idst USBC charger for topping off comp packs. Cool to see some more options Only big event I've been to was ECC last year. GA Rock Zombies Haul and Crawl is a great time as well. Need to get out west for PLBTF

Jefferson state jamboree is the best in northern California. Pro line by the fire isn't to bad to go to. The only two events I go to. RC palooza is the best in the pnw.

PLBTF is at the top of the list. This will be my fourth time to Axialfest Badlands which is a great time. The Gauntlet in Michigan is always fun.

My wife and I have 2 events that we have to go to every year. AxialFest because we take the Grandkids there and Pro Line By The Fire is just for us. Those are the 2 mandatory events with PLBTF being the favorite now since AxialFest is not at Cisco Grove. In about 5yrs I will retire from the Railroad and we will be traveling all across the country to RC events. I plan on getting my pilot certificate also but it will be full time RC all day everyday.

Had a great time at “Injora the Gathering’s Austar Weekend”… I mean Beat the Creek🤣 the number of mutants and their eBay specials that looked like a kindergartner built were kinda discouraging to serious builders, but hey, everybody had a great time, especially with all the chronic smoke hovering above the campgrounds all weekend. Looking forward to Axialfest and others this summer.

Beat The Creek is relatively close to me, 2-3 hour drive. I'd like to get to Proline by the Fire at some point, since that always seems to be the "if you can only pick one, pick this" event for folks.

my favorite event is the camp trail adventure, the biggest RC event here in brazil that happens in april, unfortunatly i didnt go this year. beside this camp trail adventure is dificult to find RC crawler event in brazil, i hope this year have more.

Was going to Axialfest (west) for years, but in the last few I just wasn't feel'in it (gets pretty old after awhile) Pro Line BTF Is great, but hard to get accommodations, and overall, that park is not real big, and sleeping in the back of my truck for a week loses it's appeal over time. I like to keep to local events if possible

I would love to go to PLBTF but being so far away, I don’t see it happening. I recently went to Texas Crawlfest for the first time and plan on going back year after year.

The nearest event from where I live is about 350 km and the one that I go to every year since 2019 (2020 and 2021 was off because of the pandemic) is about 600 km from my home

I would like to go to pro line by the fire if i lived closer. We have an event in Michigan called The Great Lakes Gauntlet that takes place at a rc park called Walter's RC Park. I try to make every year. Its a great time.

Furry Weekend Atlanta 2025 will supposedly have an indoor crawler course added near the board game room because SOMEBODY brought a custom skinned Axial Capra in 2023 (wonder who coulda done that), and at FWA 2024 there was a convoy of at least a dozen tiny trucks circling the con space along with an assortment of RC crawlers and buggies on display at the board games room. This is still scuttlebutt at this point, but Staff said they’re working on the logistics of making this happen. This is especially nice because I’ve nearly been kicked out of Golden State FurCon and Denfur for running my Capra around.

MK-07 does look like a nice addition to our collection. Maybe we'll wait for a better body. We just aren't Jeep people. Rlaarlo is not one to release a platform with different bodies so we're not holding out much hope.

I really need to get to PLBTF. It's one of those that always sneaks up on me and I end up not having the time to go.

Hoping USTE comes back next year! It's been a blast the other times I've been!

I do one major event a year. The past two years has been Beat The Creek. Definitely worth the 14 hr drive. But, might be time for something different.
