I love that he shows how to play these "open" style chords. Makes the instrument sound so much more interesting than just the more common voicings that we all know. Great video, can't wait to try to learn these pieces!

I used to jam with a remarkable player who employed these inversions and it certainly added a more varied palette to contrast the usual bar chords us rock and roll diehards will never tire of.TY Paul very much.

Paul, your teaching techniques are by far some of the best on KZfaq. The manner in which you present and explain in that ohh Soo calming voice,, elevates the stress and pressures of learning. Atleast for me, I'm not great at guitar but am gradually getting there thanks to people such as yourself. I could only imagine what one could achieve by having one on ones lessons in person. Dont know if you are still at it but in my experience wich was the contrary, after i started playing guitar my singing got more "in tune", a month after starting the guitar i could just hit the notes felt like magic

From zero to at least 30 or 40% (ig 😆 don't have guitar to play, just imagination, sometimes the guitar in our church) I can play guitar now and put emotions in my playing.. cause of a vibes like this, thank you Mr. Paul!
