Күн бұрынThe Lord gave me an extra blessing this day. The bite was on at this heavily pressured pond. The YMCA pond is known for it's incredible amount of skunks.
If you don’t know my Lord and Savior. He is there waiting to be sought. He wants to be your Lord and Savior too. Find a good Bible teaching church, if they are just telling stories that’s not bible teaching. If that’s too much, too quick, my church family has an online ministry with recorded sermons and Bible studies. Live on Sundays, we stream the service to KZfaq, Facebook or on the site. @@savedbygraceoutdoors I’m always glad to see you upload. It means you were able to get out and fish 🙌🏽. That pond by the Y looks promising for when the bite turns on big time. Have you seen others fish there a ton?

@@thatfishingnoob I’ve heard there is a lot of crappie. Also has a a few short nose gar. I’m sure it has some catfish. I hung a huge gar at the puddle at the old Raveneaux country club last week on a blade bait but he got off. Looked about 3 foot long. I sure would like to get those things back in cypress creek where they came from. I saw a 3 foot gator in there too. Those poor fish have some ferocious neighbors in that pond. 😅

Nice pond monsters, bud! Tough losing them. One of the best things about fishing from the bank, is to compensate for a slow reel, you can back up! 😛 The weather sure looked nice!

I don’t move any faster than the reel now days. 😂 Yes the weather has been beautiful. Too beautiful, pressure is over 30 nearly everyday.

You got a shimano reel! I want buy another brand now that I’ve bought shimano. But I don’t to try some of the Abu new reels. I like Abu too.

Yeah I have had it a year. But the DC took some getting used to. I have ran my reels with the brakes off mostly and just use my thumb. Well you touch the spool on a DC and it will mess it all up. But I’ve gotten used to it. If I replace my 2 Lews I’ll probably get the SLX but not DC. But I have really liked the Lews Tournament MP and it holds more line than the Shimano but it’s like $50 more than the Shimano SLX. Not DC. So probably go Shimano.

@@savedbygraceoutdoors I have the SLX 7.3.1 and two SLX XT in 7.3.1 and 6.3.1 ratios. I’ll probably never get a DC. The Slx are my favorite. I want to get a 200 M one day tho.
