Filipinos are hospitable, naturally friendly & family oriented. It's sad that they choose to live at this kind of place but as poor as they are, each dwelling are well-kept & organized. They wash clothes. they clean, they shower & cook. One thing about the poor...no matter what life throws at them, they face it with however positive way, single or as a family. May God bless them.

I see people more connected with each other. I see kids enjoying their lives without the use of cell phones. I see people smiling and minding their own business. What's 'terrible" to you is simply a day in the life of someone not living in America.

Amazingly, people have this ability to adapt to their environment though some people shrug it off as a miserable existence. These people look happy and are making the most of their lives. I find that very admirable. Most of these people tend to be helpful to others because they know how difficult it is to scrape for survival. Wishing them happiness.

The children seem to be so much fun, the girls are shy and so are some of the teenage boys. The adults seem to have strange looks. I wish people wouldn't smoke.

i watched the video and have not seen one person wallowing in misery nor did i see anyone restricted to come and go as they wish so wheres the trap? what i saw are people that got accustomed to living in what WE see as miserable conditions.
