I just started following you and love watching your videos. All of your lizards (especially the Tegus) are beautiful and obviously healthy and happy since you are a successful breeder. I am also so excited that you are breeding Payload, he and Crime Scene are my favorites of your males.

Hey Joey, I have 3 tegus. A full grown BW female, a 1yr.old BW male and a Mark Z. High white blue that is a year old. The 1yr. old BW male has the fat cheeks already showing. Question is when will the high white blue start showing the fat jowls? Please help..and keep up the great videos

Thanks for watching. Not all tegus get big jowls. I find that blues typically have the smallest.

Do they evert their uhm junk like Savannah monitors along with other monitor species? First time my Sav did it at a few months old during a bath, I freaked out. Thought I broke him or something and thought his intestines were falling out his vent!!! Scared me so bad. 😳🤯😳

The bottom most likely has some sort of mesh or chicken wire. At least that's how most do it.

On your website it showed an error when I looked for ones for sale. If you don't have any for sale and someone was looking, I'd add a list of morphs you have with pictures just so people know you're still in business 🙂

Some can have smaller looking jowls but nothing like how the males do.

Put em together for a few days, seperate em for a few days, put em back together, put on s little Marvin Gaye or Barry White, light s few candles and scatter some rose petals....
