Qari Ahmed bin Ahmed Nuainaa, born in 1954 in Matoobas, Kafr El Sheikh Governorate, Egypt, is celebrated for his profound connection with the Quran. Raised in Matoobas and Rashid, Beheira Governorate, he began his Quranic journey early, memorizing the Quran before the age of eight and mastering Tajweed under Sheikh Ahmed El Shawa's guidance. Throughout his life, he received mentorship from esteemed Quranic scholars such as Sheikh Mohamed Fareed Al Nuʿmāni, Sheikhah Um Al Saʿad, and Sheikh Mustafa Ismail.
After studying medicine at Alexandria University, Qari Nuainaa pursued a career combining medical practice and administration. He initially worked at Alexandria University Hospital, eventually holding leadership positions like Deputy Director of the University Children's Hospital and Deputy Director of the Treatment Institution. Later, he transitioned to medical administration at Arab Contractors, where he rose to become director after earning Master's and Doctorate degrees in Pediatrics.
Qari Nuainaa gained recognition across Egypt for his exceptional Quranic recitation, notably at Sidi El Samak Mosque in Alexandria for a decade. His distinctive style caught the attention of President Mohamed Anwar El Sadat during a naval event, earning widespread acclaim for his vocal skills. In 1985, he achieved first place at the International Quran Memorization Competition in New Delhi, captivating audiences with his recitation of Surah Ar-Rahman.
