Beautiful resin wine caddy and coaster set! SOLD

This set was a lot of fun. I used approximately 8 ounces of resin, mica pigments, alcohol ink and gold leaf flakes. I will add a dome coat to level out the sharp surface edge. I can't wait to try again! Let me know what you think in the comments!

Please use them, it is so much fun to assemble it with the bottle and glasses! Can't wait to see what you do with it. I have been working on something to show you but I have a bit of a creative "block" part way through LOL

When making these do you have to use alcohol inks?

No you can use mica pigments, pastes, inks even a tiny bit of acrylic paint - thanks for watching!

How do you get your wine butler mold resin from shifting to one side

I am not sure I understand your question. If you mean shifting as I am pouring the resin, I make sure I have my molds on a level surface. Hope this helps, if not please let me know - thanks for watching!

Mine keeps bending on the side where the wine 🍷 glasses hang one glass broke all ready,

Oh sorry to hear that. I hear of that problem quite a bit when people use an art coating resin. Did you fill the mold all the way so the piece is as thick as it can be and let it cure for 30 days or so? Some resins are harder than others or take longer to get hard.

@@SheriPhaffArtPaintBrushed just on one side I put more resin on I am going to do the other side and let it sit for 72 hours in a cold area this time. I use Amazing clear cast a and b. I can’t sell that if that’s going to happen.

@@vestabarrett4964 I believe the cold will slow down the curing time. I haven't used Amazing so I can't comment on its performance. I use Krystal resin or Liquid diamonds. Hopefully you can get it fixed.

Did you let it cure long enough? If so and it is still bending, likely the resin was not measured and mixed properly. Make sure to read the manufacturer's mixing instructions carefully because not all are the same. I am not sure if there is anything to do to fix it.

Jan for me I think my glasses were too heavy. I'm seeing a lot of people are using champagne glasses instead of the actual wine glasses.
