Message of this song is beautiful in Filipino. "Tahan na" or "ta'n na" is not simply stop crying in Filipino. It is a phrase exclusively used by parent/guardians. You say "tahan na" to your kid to tell him/her "it's okay/I'm hurting too when I see you cry/your Dad/Mom is here now, no more worries, it's gonna be fine" It is a verbal equivalent of a parent's hug. You are not supposed to tell an adult to "tahan na." It's never said by a son/daughter to his/her dad/mom. But MAPA is just something else. It is a reverse-role lullaby (Lataratrara). That is why it hits hard.

Also, Josh's vocals tho? The way he hit those high notes? He really improve a lot now, not to mention, what he did at the last part. The part when he "lata, lata, lata," with low voice? If you know what I mean like I kept repeating that part, he's so good at harmonizing. Josh really did great there!
