My Great Great Grandfather came to American from Rouchovany, a village in Moravia. Its sad that when his son, Joseph, died his form of czech dialect died with it. The elderly my town knows today are slowly dying out and with them is their dialect. R.I.P Matej Hotovy 1859 1937

Some of that Moravian (south-eastern) music is guessed by etnomusicologists to originate eventually from an antient greek music. Why? Who was the old Moravans? Not easy to say! But it is older "state" than Bohemia (now main nationality in the Czech Republic/Czechia). The old Moravian state was called ´Velká Morava´ - ´Large Moravia´ or ´Big Moravia´. Inhabitants of the Czech Republic are till now devided in several main cultural ´nations´. The ´Czech nation´ for whole inhabitans is counted to the King Sv. Václav (=Saint Wienceslass) - and musicologically - Yes! - A carol ´Good King Wiencelas´ really reflects that bohemian ruler (10th century AC). His lineage is tied to an legendary prince ´Přemysl´ (´ř´ is typically bohemian/czech consonant - not easy to pronounce). That same lineage, which ´Karel IV.´ - the emperor of Holy Roman Empire was. ´Přemyslovci´ - the kin - they embraced Christianity from Moravian duke Svatopluk. The baptist of the first Bohemian/Czech prince was St. Metod (´Svatý Metoděj´) from Thessaloniki. It means as well the fact - that ancestry of Karel IV. - the emperor... were (-nowadays said-) eastern Christians. It means as well - Moravians and Bohemians are historically very connected and have no problem to form a single country. Other ethnical influences are in Middle Europe absolutelly (historically) common and come from north, south, east and west.

Zpívá moravský, jsou tam typické české slova, c nemáte ani ve slovenštině. je to moravské nářečí. Zase si slovák něco přivlastňuje.

It's in Czech, just in a specific Moravian dialect that is common in Moravian parts called "Slovácko" (the region around Zlín, Vsetín etc., on borders with Slovakia).

Not really, it's in Czech, just with a Moravian dialect which is common for a region called "Slovácko" (Moravian parts that share borders with Slovakia).

I don't know your particular origin but I can see your obvious nationalism and ignorance...nationalism is ok but ignorance? in the age of google? You don't have to travel to a library dear : Moravian Wallachia (Czech: Moravské Valašsko), or simply Valašsko (Romanian: Valahia Moravă), is a mountainous region located in the easternmost part of Moravia in the Czech Republic, near the Slovak border, roughly centered on the cities Vsetín, Valašské Meziříčí and Rožnov pod Radhoštěm.[1] The name Wallachia used to be applied to all the highlands of Moravia and neighboring Silesia, although in the 19th century a smaller area came to be defined as ethno-cultural Moravian Wallachia. The traditional dialect (rarely heard these days) represents a mixture of elements from the Czech and Slovak languages, and has a distinct lexicon of Romanian origin relating to the pastoral economy of the highlands. The name originated in the "Vlachs", an originally Romanian-speaking community that migrated to Moravia from modern day Romania and Moldova. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moravian_Wallachia By the way...Dana is a very popular Romanian name

We are not from Romanian origin, we are a Western Slavic nation, you should learn a bit more and find out that Romania is not a Slavic nation! So the music may be similar, but folk music is not taken from Romania.

But you have to write next that you are talking about Valahs and not about moravians, a huge difference in culture, but not in music! The music is from a in the area of Bojkovice, but north-west the area is the Hanná and again another culture in Moravia. ;)
