I lived in Bradenton Florida for a few years in the mid 1990's. I did my first solo flight in a Cessna 152 at Sarasota / Bradenton Airport during that time. It is a nice area like you said and looks like it is even nicer now... The beach is awesome on the gulf side... I live in Lincolnton, NC now and visit Florida regularly, mostly at my wifes Aunt's house in The Villages, when we take time off from work. We can stay for free there as long as we do some work around the house for her. I think some contractors take advantage of older folks so whatever we can do for her we do. Keep up the great work on KZfaq. In 11 years I'll be 62, and then I'll be CRUSHING IT...!!!!! Ha ha ha ha

You're a couple of brave souls touring around Nathan Benderson Park and Waterside in this heat and humidity. I have an early morning walk then I'm inside in the AC. There are still some affordable rentals in some of the old Sarasota neighborhoods, but not much.

Looks way over priced to me. All those places are empty because nobody can afford to pay the rent. I bet that living in your RV there would cost you maybe $2,000.00 per month?! HOA fees on all of the condo's out there could pay off the National Debt.
