In Chopin's time his Pleyel Pianos were likely tuned between 430-435 Hz, putting 432 Hz right in range for the tuning standard of his day. This is verified by the Fryderyk Chopin Institute and their International Chopin Competition on Period Instruments where the pianos are all tuned to 430 Hz.
