I'm from Ohio and we maintain our yard which is almost an acre. In fact, my hubby sets the standard on our street. He is meticulous and will actually work sun up to sun down. We have always been homeowners since our 20's. Friends visiting over the holidays said our yard looks like a park😊😊😊

It's 110 degrees yard work is done when the sun starts going down, since we can't start cutting grass early in the morning. By 7:00 it's already hot. I like to get out in the yard when it's cool at 5:30 in the morning but I can't run the mower so sundown is when it's done. Listen to the birds,so relaxing.

I’m down South and I put love on my yard. I’m not bragging or boasting, but I put people on breaks when they come by my house!!!! They can be walking or riding. I truly believe God’s Word. Everything my hands touch is BLESSED. That push mower is everything. The yard man can keep it moving. I no longer need his service. I appreciate everything he did in the past 15 years on my lawn, because my husband works out of town. It’s just me most of the time. My husband and I are on the same team. How can two walk together unless they are agreed? God will continue to BLESS the works of our hands!!! 🙌 My sister and brother keep making things happen. Our home is our sanctuary!!❤❤❤

Those dirt droppings could be from a dirt Dobber. They build their mounds out of dirt. I find them around my house on my brick.

Oh does a house require lots of upkeep. I was thinking of my bushes on the side that need some help. You all did good.getting older is making it all so much harder. And boy oh boy my quote for hiring was beyond believable.i already paid for staining the deck . The stain alone was 300.And seal coating driveway. Up there. Gutters cleaned and house power washed. Think I will have to hold off on help with weeding and bushes. Use to do all of this. My dad trained me good. He was meticulous even when old.

I love working in my backyard and I love keeping it neat just like my front yard but let me hear where I live in California when I say it's been two during hot it has been too darn hot here triple digits almost every day.
