The theme from the Disney movie "Beauty and the Beast", composed by Alan Menken. The arrangement is by Sylvia Woods. I'm playing on a Lyon & Healy Style 85 CG harp which I borrowed from my music school for the summer :)

I've always thought the harp is a really beautiful instrument, and you've done a really really good job on the song here. "Beauty and the Beast" is one of those enduring, classic songs that will last forever - thanks for sharing your lovely version.

Thank you, I'm glad you find my halting efforts helpful ^_^' When I look at my old videos like this one I cringe a little because I was such a beginner, but then again it's nice to remember that we were all beginners once. Good luck learning this song, it's such a beautiful arrangement!

Branna, this song has a deeper memory to me and whenever I hear it, I tear up and I smile or I remember. I would play this tune over and over again when my mother was battling cancer. Even as a beginner, it is beautiful. You can always, always play it again. If you feel you can play better than you had here, I would love to hear it again with you playing on those strings.
